Candy came back from the market humming. Shed bought all the food she needed for later. She started to walk back when she looked over to see. The gentlecolts from earlier she then looked closer that the two. They seemed to be in a bit of trouble she trotted up them. "Is something the matter?" She asked in a soft tone.

"Huh, oh nothings wrong. just talking about money issues." Storm Spark replied.

He held up his hoof and said, "My name's Storm Spark! What's yours?"

Candy gave a sheepish smile. She shock his hoof "nice to meet you Strom Spark !" She said in the same soft ton. She smiled "My names Candy or that’s what people call me.”

"Hello! I'm Shining Mask." Mask said as he held out his hoof.

As Croaks walks into the marketplace, he tosses the basket that he was just holding in his mouth around his neck. He went over to different stands, looking for a shovel, seeds, and whatnot.

Satisfied, he decided to leave the market just as he saw an art hut. Strange, he thought, scratching his beard, I don't think I've ever noticed that stand before.

He walked over to it and started browsing the artwork, he was really impressed. He also saw several other ponies having a little trouble, one of which was the alicorn he saw earlier. "Why hello," Croaks said to the alicorn, "I believe you're new in town?"

He noticed the other ponies around him and said, "Sorry if I interrupted something," he then patiently waited by the table. To buy a picture.

(That awkward moment when you finally post...after 2 pages )

 

Electra blinked back the sleepiness from her eyes as that annoying alarm clock began ringing, shaking on the table until it eventually fell over with an unceremonious thud. "Come on," she grumbled, swiping a hoof and just missing it before it dropped onto the ground, where it continued ringing, unreachable to her. Sighing, she rubbed her eyes. Time to get up. Tumbling from her bed, she made her first priority the annoying alarm clock, a small measure of satisfaction welling up inside of her as she bent down and finally silenced the noisy thing.

 

Well, now what was she supposed to do? I'm already up, might as well take a walk outside, she thought, the sleep clearing from her brain. Gently pushing open the bedroom door, she trotted carefully down the stairs-last time she ran, she had tripped down five stairsteps-and reached ground floor, where she quickly grabbed an orange on her way out the door. She nudged open the front door, and the flash of sunlight immediately streamed into her face. She stood there by the doorway, enjoying the sun's morning rays.

Candy awkwardly shuffled. She forgot to shake his hoof it was all going so well for her . "Sorry. hello shinning!" she said. She looked over at the pony that just arrived she waved a hoof.

"Oh, please call me Mask. Shining is a rather common name, and I don't want to cause any confusion." He said as he shook her hoof.

"... uh...I'ts nice to meet you!" He said, with an awkward smile.

Ana runs up to Candy who was talking to the other ponies, "Why hi there ma'am, see anything ya like?" She said hopefully.

Candy looked around every so often with her horn she'd pick up a painting and put it down. She finely found one she liked her eyes gleamed at it. "Oh wow! This ones so pretty how much would you take for it?!"

"Oh this one's is one of mah best works! That'll be 30 bits, please!" Ana said.

Candy pulled a face, 30 bits?! . She paused, but she has her heart set on it now. She sighed and gave her the bits. "This is going to look so pretty in my house!" She said smiling.

"Thank ya, kindly!" Anacostia beamed as she put the money in her bag. "I'm so glad you've decided to stop by, now don't forget to tell everyone where you got it from, eh?"

"Not really" she sighed, "I can never think of any good names for them."

"No offence," he said, as he looked at his painting "but I can see why."

"Aw shoot, none taken" Ana said looking at the ground, "I've been having inspiration problems lately anyway."

"You are? Then when did you paint this?"

"The night my Grandmama took sick, I've been trying to raise enough money to try and take care if her."

"Ah. Disease once inspired me to make a costume."
