ggg-2 3,555 November 30, 2016 Share November 30, 2016 This kind of goes with my thoughts on the CMC's special talents. but should getting a cutie mark be something a foal should discover by themselves, instead of going to what are now essentially cutie mark guidance counselors? BastementSparkle 20,335 November 30, 2016 Share November 30, 2016 It's up to them, I think. The CMC can't discover a foals talent for them, they'll just give them support, help them find new things to try, and push them in the right direction. Sometimes people need a little help figuring out exactly what they want to do with their life, and it's no different in Equestria. Twilight is best pony. Why hello MLPForums! What have ya been up to? GrimGrimoire 4,973 November 30, 2016 Share November 30, 2016 The CMCs don't give anyone talents... they are as you said, sort of like guidance counselors.. and are only there to help those who are confused and want the help, whether that is in seeking a mark, or in understanding the one they have. Honestly i imagine there are a lot of younger ponies that would have questions and problems concerning cutie marks, and having someponies who have been there and done that would be a huge help to those who feel all alone and like they have no one to talk to about it. ~No profound statement needed~
Midnight Seashell 206 December 3, 2016 Share December 3, 2016 Isn't that what they already do?I see the CMC as guidance counselors who offer advice because cutie marks are unique to the pony.
