FiM ponies in Mary Poppins?

Maybe I'm crazy, and I know Mary Poppins is a lot older than FiM, but I swear that in the scene where Mary, Burt, and the kids jump into Burt's sidewalk art and are riding those carousel horses, the one Burt rides looks like Mr Cake, the one Jane rides looks like Pinkie Pie, and the one Mary Poppins rides looks an awful lot like Rarity.

What do you guys think?

I think that's a coincidence of the highest level. Maybe Lauren Faust or someone among the staff were influenced by that particular scene in Mary Poppins resulting in the creation of some of the characters you listed.
