gaming Opinions on the Smashbox?

As you can see, the Smashbox is a Smash controller that uses buttons for every input rather than a control stick and trigger buttons. It's like an optimized GameCube controller, allowing for much easier execution for certain tech. I've never used it before, so it looks pretty awkward to use but when you master it you can do many things easier than using a regular controller. It can make it easy for players of some Street Fighter games to transition to Smash, it can reduce the risk of hand conditions, and as I mentioned before, it can make tech easier. Do you think the Smashbox should be banned in competitive play, or should it be allowed? I think that since the controller doesn't affect how the game works, I think it should be allowed. While tech skill is an important thing, I feel like fundamental skill is much more important. What are your thoughts?
