ManaMinori 4,145 December 23, 2016 Share December 23, 2016 It's clear that Megan lives in a parallel universe across a rainbow where ponies aren't sentient, but its not really clear why Firefly went there in the first place (and how did she even know about an AU with life forms to go to ask for help)? It has been shown that witches, human rulers of kingdoms, trolls, elves, bushwoolies, furbobs, and more inhabit their own world, so why did Firefly seek help from someone from an AU, rather than the many creatures and people that already existed in their own world? nr2038 51 February 7, 2017 Share February 7, 2017 Because reasons? But seriously I like to think that maybe in her world, with everything that was happening she maybe needed to find a creature that did not have any type of magical properties. Or possibly there was some connection previously and now humans are some sort of legend in their world. Like the way pegasai and unicorns are in ours. Or a third possibility, she just flew to fast and broke the color spectrum and accidentally found the person who could help her, while trying to go somewhere else. My question though is why Megan took the news that a Small flying talking horse was taking her to a magical kingdom so easily?
chaosprincess 1,067 February 11, 2017 Share February 11, 2017 (edited) I don't know the answer only Hasbro does, but my guess is that Hasbro wanted to submerge the viewers into the movie by showing that they are connected to the human world it allows the viewers to put themselves in Meghan's place and it was a way for Hasbro to sell Meghan as a toy more money for Hasbro I could be completely wrong like I said I don't know the answer, but that is just my guess to submerge the viewers allowing them to place themselves inside the story and to make money off of Meghan's toys since she was sold as a toy and it would make for more of an interesting story a my little pony meets a human its a way to attract more viewers by adding a human into the mix of colorful ponies. Wingnut 6,993 May 29, 2017 Share May 29, 2017 That's a damn good question and one that I've been meaning to ask. The Transformers originally came to earth because a twist of fate caused the Autobots' starship to crash there. But no such backstory is provided for the rainbow bridge. It's just...there. Is there a series bible out there that might have more information?
