What happened to Applejacks Parents? 

 

I think the best possible situation for this episode is for Applejack to had been lied to her whole life about where her parents are. She all but confirmed that they were dead when Scootaloo got her cutie mark, but she said, "if they were there". Meaning, a good plot for this is if Granny Smith told applejack that her parents were in a far away land doing "very important work", or something like that. 

 

More importantly, how did they die? Was this Bruce Wayne?, Did they die in a war?, sickness?, accident?

 

Maybe, applejacks parents died of mysterious causes that could be the cause of someone poisoning them for some insidious plot to take apple acres later on? I think, this is probably going to be one of the most needed episodes to happen in order to put the show to a close, an episode they cannot pull any punches with.

While we are getting an episode about how the two fell in love, I don't think that the show will be able to state how they died or even if they died, given the TV Y rating.

I've seen that Granny Pear is supposed to be in one episode & AJ's parents were a Romeo & Juliet romance.  I thought this was going to be a flashback episode, possibly prompted by Apple Bloom asking about her parents. This would be good if handled right.  Based on comments by other fans, now I'm starting to think I misunderstood & AJ's parents are alive.
