Here No Longer 5,276 June 4, 2019 Share June 4, 2019 (edited) I do miss that age, but do I miss school at that age? Not really... Let's just say I had issues with wetting myself in the middle of class sometimes, and it was only kind of embarrassing. Also, I don't miss how monotonously easy the curriculum was. My reading level was way below what it should have been until about 5th grade (starting in 4th it began to jump several grade levels every year until I was in junior high. By that point I had read Watership Down and books like that with higher reading levels), but every other subject I could have literally slept through and still totally aced, because I already knew most of what I was told. *yawn* I also didn't really care for the friends I even did have all to much. The only friend I remember was an immature dope with overly strict parents. Though I do have his penny passport from all those years ago... Treeglow Flicker 13,630 June 4, 2019 Share June 4, 2019 Primary school wasn't too bad. I was never bullied and I always got on with my work. A few shameful memories from those days that I wish I could purge though. But seeing that I was a child at the time, I think I get a free pass for being an idiot back then. But that being said. There were a couple of members of staff that that disliked me and I disliked them for disliking me. One was the second year infant school teacher. She was a bitch who mysteriously disappeared after a few months. Then there was one of the playground and lunch room monitors. She was also a bitch. A grey afro haired beedy eyed bitch. I'm pretty sure she used to lure children into her home to cook them in her oven. She's probably dead now. Now secondary school. That was really horrible. Bullied and despised for being a goody two shoes and being different overall. Never a moment's peace and eternally wishing for a natural disaster of some sort would consume the place so that I would never have to return. Things got alot easier after leaving school though. Although I had to stumble through some remnants of crap. I'm still looking for the guy who said "School years are the best years of your life" so that I can smack a chair in his face. Free hugs for those who find the person for me.
OptimisticNeighsayer 478 June 4, 2019 Share June 4, 2019 Not at all. I feel like I didn’t actually learn anything or have a real sense of community until middle school, and yes, even I had one bully there. That being said, I do miss some of my teachers there though. 1 Hablo español--Je parle français--日本語を話す--我说中文--...and sarcasm (yeah right!) I compose music. McFlurryMaddie 268 June 4, 2019 Share June 4, 2019 I didn't even leave primary school yet and I'm already missing it. This year'll be my final one in primary school after 6 amazing years, currently I'm in Malaysian Standard 6 (grade 5-6). I've made unforgettable memories, and even more unforgettable friends who were with me through rain or shine . Primary school is literally gunna be my favourite schooling session ever in my whole entire lyfe..
