A bat's shadow RP (1x1 Rp w/ Maple Bat)

Maple looked at one of the soup recipes "Alright. Seems easy enough I can do this." She started to work on the soup, flying while doing so, preventing her and Shadow from running into each other. She wasn't really sure who he was making it for though.

Once he was done with the cake part, he placed in the oven and started working on the frosting for it. The cake was for a going-away party, so he needed to write an apology on it. He glanced over to see that the other two soups were one that needed poison jokes and the other one needed the hot sauce.

Maple had almost finished the soup she was making when she saw that Shadow had already finished his cake. She put the soup down as she finished it and graunted as she hurt the bruise when she landed. "I'll get started on another one." She said walking over to the recipes."

Shadow nodded and said as he got the cake ready for travel and handed Maple the one with the poison joke, "Here, I'll do the other one once I got the cake and soup ready." He didn't really look at the recipes that he handed Maple, but he knew that there'll be a risk for either one

Maple continued to help shadow like normal she saw poison joke on there. "Are you sure this is right?" She asked "Ahh whatever you've shown me some cool stuff so I guess that this is safe too." She didn't want to touch the poison Joke so she levitated it with magic and mixed it in as the instructions said.

Shadow laughed to himself, he had to deal with poison joke before, but his claw did help with it, but he was thrown into a field and he lost his balance so he couldn't stand on two legs until he took a bath in the cure for it. He placed an address on the box with the cake and on a portable bowl for the soup.

Maple was curious "Ya know Poison Joke has different effects on different ponies." She began "So what does it do to you?" She knew he was gonna ask her what it did as well since everyone one did. "For me it turns me into a pegasus for a day. Having feathered wings feels weird."

Shadow smiled and laughed a bit then he said, "It makes me lose my balance, so I have to walk like everypony until I bath in the cure for it. I can imagine what it feels like to have feathers. A pegasus needed me to carry her through a jungle and my back was itching from the feathers on my scales.

She sighed "It's probably not as bad if you where born with them." She spread her wings "But I got these instead and I can't say I'm complaining." She laughed as she finished the soup with the Poison Joke in it "This is harmless to anypony so I know this doesn't have malicious intent behind it." She said handing it to him

Shadow nodded, placed it on the table, and started working on the last one as he got the other one ready to be delivered. He placed goggles across his eyes and started mixing in the soup. He grabbed the hot sauce and started dumping it in. Some splashed across the goggles and he was glad for them or that would've hurt badly.

She wondered why he would need googles to make soup. She shrugged it off knowing that it was probably safe for other ponies. "So where's most of the food going anyways?" She asked "Looked like the cake was an apology of sorts. So where's the rest of it going?"

Shadow said as he placed the lid on, "The cake is going to a going-away party, the poison joke soup is going to an average get together, a reunion of sorts, the one on the stove is going to a contest which is being hosted by dragons, and the other one is going to an important pony's dinner to discuss plans."

"Alright guess that makes sense." She said "I'm gonna go wash off to make sure none of the poison gets in my system. Don't wanna have feathered wings again." She walked over to the guests bathroom and began to wash her hooves.

Shadow nodded and once Maple left to head to the bathroom, Shadow took the soup off the stove and the one that Maple worked on first through a portal. He placed the one for the contest above a small puddle of lava, and the one for the dinner in the kitchen of the house. Then he jumped through the portal home before anyone saw him. Once he got home, he started washing the dishes, then he got in his wardrobe, and looked at the outfits he collected. He pulled out a mask that had a long beak-like nose on it and smiled. That was an interesting and funny time for it, plus he almost got his nose broken when he scared the stallion.

After Maple had finished washing off. She walked back out and saw shadow looking at an odd mask "So I guess it went well then? Seeing as you didn't get hurt." She grabbed the bottle of her special brew which she had made before shadow got back after the recruit training,

I placed the mask back on the rack and said as he closed the wardrobe, "They're just a drop-off, and if I read about it in the papers, I'll know that it went well. That reminds me, I need to order a paper for tomorrow." He headed down the stairs and added, "Could you leave the cake at the address on the box. I'll take the last soup to the reunion."

She took the cake "Yea that'll be easy" She looked at the address. "Alright see ya when I get back." She spread her wings and flew off to go deliver the cake to whoever it was going to. She wondered who it was intended for however and wondered what happened between the two.

Shadow grabbed the soup and took it to the reunion. He looked around the room to see no one there, then he placed it on the table and left. All of it was later tonight, so there would be no complications to it, and hopefully, Maple doesn't hang around, if it went according to plan, the ponies would suffer from hallucinations and it would be a massive panic there.

She had been flying for a while she summoned a cloud to take a break on.She looked at the address on it and sighed it was still a ways away but she didn't want to open a portal and potentially ruin it so she was flying manually.

Shadow sat down at the table and sighed, he was tired from the two fights and the exercise and nervous from how the four will go. He got up and started making a drink to calm himself down. He took a gulp and decided to talk to a pony that might help with a few jobs, so he can have enough time.

It was about 2 hour after Maple had left to deliver the cake she had to arrive at a meeting in canterlot just afterwards about how to handle chrysalis She hated going to it because her opinion was biased so it didn't count but she still had to attend. When she got back she sat down and sighed.

Shadow walked down the stair and said as he sat down next to Maple, "Rough time?" He took a gulp as he thought about what he and the changeling discussed prior to Maple come into the house and their business together

"Yea I was apparently supposed to show up to a meeting which my opinion didn't matter, I didn't know I was supposed to show up so I was late." Maple replied "So yea it was pretty rough." She leadned back in the chair and sighed again.

Shadow gulped the rest of his drink down and said as he stood up, "Let me make you a drink for your day. What would you like your drink made with?" He grabbed some apple cider in the back  of the fridge and placed it on the counter

"Some apple cider would be nice." She said. "But I'd be fine with just that no need to mix it with anything." She wasn't really sure what good drinks where supposed to taste like but she did know she liked apple cider.
