Newborn Cuties aren't the scariest ponies

While the Newborn Cooties of G3.5 are pretty bad, there are some real, official nightmare fuel ponies of g1 that make NC look good. 

How do people feel about these (Beddy Bye Eyed ponies of g1, and Takara plushes of g1), and why do you think anyone would want them in their collection?

I find them both cute little ponies you could put to sleep back then it was cool to see a toy that could close their eyes etc it was high tech now it would seem like an old timey invention since well we've come a long way from plastic ponies being able to close their eyes so I would add both ponies and plushies to my collection a pony is a pony as for the newborn cuties the toys themselves are not that creepy their actually cute its just the show design I mean their not the scariest things out there, but within the show they do seem a tad creepy, but that's my opinion everybody will have their own thoughts and reasons.

As if BBE ponies didn't look unsettling enough already, they can look even worse when their eyes are all rusty.  I do like how the plushies look though, they'd definitely be welcome in my collection.
