Go on YouTube. Even people who hate MLP still love things like Discord, The Moon Rises, Piemations, Pony.mov, etc.

Really shows how much of an impact this fandom made for fan-produced content, regardless of the current size or downward trend.

There are also those pieces of work that stand out without making it obvious they're MLP-derived. Here's an easy example

 

The only thing "pony" about this video is the artwork. If you just up and heard it on the radio, you wouldn't tell if it was pony-related. This is true for many of the instrumentals.

That's true.

That's because some of the fan content is so well executed, that despite having ponies, they're just good. From what I've noticed, most of the time people leave comments like "I don't like MLP, but this song is awesome."; "Not a fan of MLP, but this animation is so well done." etc. etc..

I mean, a great portion of MLP fanwork out there is just straight-up amazing! Regardless if the viewer ever watched the show or not, they can still appreciate quality content on these platforms.

Besides, more often than not, that's exactly how people are drawn to the fandom in the first place.

Many of my friends like this kind of stuff but just don´t say it because is MLP related or brony related and they don´t want to in their words: appear childish. What a joke, if they enjoy videogames, cartoons and anime why not MLP??

I mean, good art can be enjoyed by most people, whether they like the concept of it or not, the amount of work that went into it is something that needs to be appreciated.
