I was meaning to start a topic on Site Questions and Tech Support and opened Feedback by mistake, I saw the disclaimer and link up the top and thought you beauty, easy jump across, I opened it only to come back to feedback, tried a couple times and had a look to see what was going on.

Huh. It's not technically a circular reference. It's an HTML anchor that is empty. Basically the link has no destination. Weird. I wonder how that happened.

That's one of the side-effects of the forum upgrade. Links to sections/threads in area descriptions have lost their tracks, resulting in magical blank links, that lead to currently loaded page, which simply gives the effect of the 'refresh' button. If you'd click the link from the home page, it would lead to the home page; If you'd click the same link in the section, it would lead to that section, where the link was clicked. 

I've took a look at sections and the same thing happened in the following descriptions:

https://mlpforums.com/forum/24-character-archives/ - 3 blank links COMBO!
https://mlpforums.com/forum/49-commissions/ - 1 blank link

By the way-
