What do you ponies think of Trixie's perpetual stage persona? What is the reason behind her always being the "GREAT AND POWERFUL" or the "BEST AT X" all the time? Why is she never simply Trixie?

Like in real life, its more of an act for magicians.

we had "the great Houdini" and other such names, so "the great and powerful Trixie" doesn't really faze me as egotistical, since its more of a stage name, like any other magician. Except Trixie doesn't need smoke and mirrors, she can actually perform magic.

Because she had a bad youth and has a large ego.  :P

If I don't understand something or Interpret it wrong, I'm dutch. Sometimes I gamble for meanings of the words. And sometimes I write the wrong words, like week and weak for example. Sorry for it already. :smug:

Maybe it's Cutie Mark related though?  She has the Arrogant Showpony Cutie Mark hence is the Arrogant Showpony?

Because being "GREAT AND POWERFUL" is simply Trixie. She's simply that quirky.
