Oh I wouldn't say nopony wants to talk to you Big Mac, it's simply that you're usually a quiet fellow, while your two sisters are very talkative.

 

Being the 'man' of the household with granny smith and your two sisters, do you find yourself inclined to try and take care of them yourself, or do you let them do things themselves? Perhaps a mix of both? I know Applejack can be fairly stubborn as far as wanting help goes, but I'm curious of your perspective.

AJ doesn't need much looking after these days and its usually Applebloom that needs attention or such, which is often taken care of by Granny, so the bulk of the farm's workload falls between me an' AJ- which we usually divvy up over breakfast. Seeing as I can be bought off by a couple of slices of toast, most days I do AJ's share of the work when she wants to spend time with her friends in town.

 

How has the death of your parents personally affected you? ~

 

...It's been tough, and I could gripe about the challenges that its been, bein' in charge of the household alongside Granny when I were only a big colt. But all I care to think about now is that all-in-all it's ended up bein' the best it could be, and I'm finished mourning for them. They're in heaven now and for that I'm happy.

Pretty fine.

Got up at 4, went for a little jog checkin' on the south orchard, by the time I came back the sun rose, so I fed the chickens. One of Appleboom's friends was in there but I can't figger out why.

After breakfast, AJ said she was goin' to town so that left me to feed the cows, set up the corn field sprinklers and water the vegetable garden. Some of the sprinklers had leaks so I had to find some tape and that took longer than I liked. After lunch I've gotta check on the north field (a couple of those trees been having an aphid problem), and make Granny tea. I've also wanted to check on the barn roof, I think it's due for re-shingling.
