movies/tv 2018 biggest year for comic book films?

Black Panther has remained number 1 at the box office for five weeks in a row and has made over $600 million domestically, it is now poised to top The Avengers to become the highest grossing comic book movie ever. It should end its domestic run at around $650 to $660 million. Infinity War is breaking presale records and if received well it could be the first film ever to break $1 billion domestically. 

After these we also have coming this year

Deadpool 2

X-Men Dark Phoenix

Ant-Man and The Wasp

Aquaman

after this year, I doubt Marvel or any studio will be able to top it.

Well let's see, Black Panther ( a culturally relevant film) passed the billion dollar mark at the global box office (which it deserved if you ask me) and Infinity War, the accumulation of 10 years of superhero films are both released this year, so I would definitely have to say that this is a pretty big year for superhero films with just those two.

But then there would be Deadpool 2 which is also a highly anticipated film, and the possible last X-Men film in the current franchise, and than things look even bigger.

Also Spiderman Into the Spiderverse is also a film that is generating some pretty good hype, so while I don't know if I can say that 2018 is the biggest year ever for comic book films, it is a pretty big one if you ask me.
