Oliver followed Jenna toward the house. At her last statement, he looked around just to make sure. "This place sure looks like he isn't far away."

"That does make me think." Jenna said "If we actually manage to make any sense of this, and possibly even to stop it somehow." "I may need some time to adjust my own beliefs." as they arrived to the house, Jenna tested if the door was locked, which it was, and then used her powers to open it "Already it's clear this whole thing is somewhat supernatural, which already goes against what I've thought most of my life." "But if it does turn out there's some kind of...being, behind this, the implications are huge." 

The house didn't look like it had been lived in, there were all the furniture you'd expect, but it was too orderly and clean to be a lived space; likely a house that had been on sale before...well, whatever was going on. It was also free of mold as far as they could see by just looking at things.

Oliver followed Jenna into the house. He kept close to her as he peered into rooms.

"Whatever spooky stuff is going on, I don't think it got in here," he said with relief. "Maybe we're safe."

"My guess is that there wasn't anything to get to here." Jenna remarked as she was looked through places "Seems kinda uninhabited" "Which is good. Less likely to find any nasty surprises." she turned the lights on to see if they worked, but was met by the distinct sound of a fuse blowing "Seems that there's still electricity in the system, better avoid power lines, doesn't seem safe if turning on lights is enough to blow a fuse." she then turned on the tap to see if the water still worked, it did, but the water looked and smelled like it had been sitting in the pipes for years, which it likely had been "I can't help but wonder why these still work, one would think that the lack of maintenance would have broken the systems already."  

Even with more throughout look, the house looked perfectly fine, there was even a king sized bed in the bedroom that looked just fine to use. It did lack any sheets and such, only having a decorative cover to make it more presentable, but they had sleeping bags with them for a reason.

Oliver's nose wrinkled at the smell of the stagnant water. "This place must've been abandoned for a long time, but there's barely any dust."

He frowned at how it seemed like he wouldn't be able to use the bed. He had been looking forward to not have to sleep on the floor.
