A few Cadance questions.

We know that Alicorns most likely age a lot slower than normal ponies if at all.

So would this mean that Cadance is older than the other ponies? if so how old is she and when was she made an alicorn and what did she do to become one?

No i didnt even watch it i just thought this place was cool.

I am asking how she became an alicorn, what she did she do to earn it.

well I assumed, that you watched the show. just have some questions, that you didn't understand..
She got her alicorn wings, same as Twi.
Twilight became an alicorn, because she's discovered the new magic. (Friendship)
and Cadence got her wings, because she was born with the unique magic (Love).

I'm not an expert in the storyline myself. so maybe someone will answers your question more accurate.

p.s. I said. she was a babysitter for Twi... but I thought you've watched the show, so you knew what she was looked like... She's wasn't a royal blood like Celestia and Luna.. but special indeed.

Not seen that in the comics, although there is a G M Burrow book (Twilight Sparkle and the crystal heart spell) that says she was a pegasus orphan raised by earth ponies, and after defeating an evil enchantress (cue pinkie's song here) found herself in the same magical location that Twi did after she fixed starswirl's spell - there, she met Celestia who adopted her.  The books are non-canon of course, so make of that what you will.

ok, thanks but i am looking for sort of exact reasons.

IS there actually a reason she became an alicorn? I dont think she got it because she just was born with the magic of love i think she may have completed a hard task such as Twilight did.

Maybe there isnt as much Info on her as there should be.

According to the book, yes - she used her magic of Love and Tolerance to defeat an evil enchantress (not entirely sure how you would do that, but hey, its Pony) and found herself transported and transformed.  So yeah, "princess-worthy deed" and all that.

Given what little we've seen about her past, and how she seemed much younger when babysitting Twilight, I believe it's reasonable to infer that she's still well within a normal pony lifespan. I think her relatively approachable personality backs that up too - immortality hasn't made her aloof yet, if she is indeed immortal or long-lived. 

It's hard to say how old she was when she became an alicorn, but based on what we know about her from the show, it's likely that she wasn't very old at all. In her mid-teens at the oldest.

I do believe you are correct.

I think that if we say out of a very very rough estimate a pony life span is about 100 years and i think she would be under 150 years depending on when she actually became an alicorn. This is because if she was so young looking when Twilight was a Filly than we know that because there is such a big difference now she cant be very old.
