Another shot at predicting Spike's destiny

So even though he became Dragon Friendship Ambassador, it doesn't seem to be a full-time job for him, so maybe that's not his destiny. But I think I got the feeling on what his true purpose could be!

The thing is, he's already doing it! Well sorta. He's labeled as "Twilight's #1 Assistant" and I always thought he could be more than that! And he might! I believe his destiny will be: EQUESTRIA'S #1 assistant! He's so good at helping out others, not just Twilight, and I think he could provide a better purpose for himself if he was just the assistant of everyone who needs him! He could make it a business!  

What do you think? Makes sense? Retire from just being Twilight's #1 assistant (he'll still be there for her too if she needs him of course), and become the #1 assistant to anyone who needs him? Not just Equestria, but also everywhere else! Maybe he can work alongside Gabby too since they both seem to share the same purpose!

Oh for crying out loud, no one knows exactly for sure what Spike will get in Season 9, but I assure you, it won't be a lot of stuff, like in the last two odd numbered seasons (5 and 7).

Besides, Spike may be a main character in nature, but he's mostly a side character.

I always liked the idea that Spike would grow up to be a guy who would just help anyone in Ponyville with their problems if they asked and, given his longevity, would become like a record keeper of sorts who would write down every happening in the town for future generations. It's not as big or profound as a lot of ideas, but I like it, it's a nice, homely and humble destiny.

You seem to be really sure of yourself. It's one way to treat your assuptions as an opinion, and another to believe it's a fact. And what you're doing, brah, is saying it as if it already happened.

Try not to let your assuptions get the better of you. Unless you have proof that Spike's getting cheated again, I'm not gonna believe what you say. Only the show can answer.

I disagree spike is a main character and so is starlight.

Spike's destiny will be what he makes of it. There's nothing set in stone for him.

Still, I don't want to see another season with mostly Spike or Rainbow Dash or Rarity in a row. The latter two have both pretty much gotten episodes with every pony and with each other already and they need to move aside.

I didn't say that I want Spike to move aside. That was only for Rarity and Rainbow Dash. I mean, I do want to see Spike regularly in Season 9, but in this case, more of him than just Rarity and Dashie, and also just not as much as in Season 8.

@Starlightglimmerfan19 @FirePuppy Look you two, this place is not the place to talk about why you don't like each other's favorite characters and the such. Please stay on topic since this is a topic about predicting spike's destiny and not "why is starlight glimmer being cheated on".

Oh, and @FirePuppy do not call out other users. You are not a mod and you are not one to tell someone not to go overboard. You were warned about doing this before. If this doesn't stop it may just result in a warning.

Either way, about this topic, I think Spike's destiny might be revealed in Father Knows Beast at the earliest; otherwise, I think it's just going to remain unchanged throughout Season 9 since it's unclear at this time.

Please keep petty annoyances to a minimum too. If you are going to start leaving eggshells lying around to hide your love for one another behind a fake rivalry, you might find Discord transporting you to a all expense paid romantic vacation for two.
