Been so long since I've dated . You know, I’ve had dates where the conversation has went on and it still ended on the one date lol 2 1 * Freaky Just Got Fabulous *

I’ve tried to keep it alive in the past but really it’s just delaying the inevitable no response lol I think so. In general that's true. But also sometimes an interaction needs a healthy kick because both people like the other person and think that they are really interesting but by some reason both are sure that the other side isn't interested to continue much.

I have a hard time thinking just being able to hold a convo with somebody necessarily means moving on. 3 Sig by Wolf, Handwriting by SparklingSwirls
Dreambiscuit 10,170 February 20 Share February 20 It depends on who I’m talking with. If it’s a complete stranger I have a variety of methods (again, depending on the length of convo I expect to be having) I may ask about their interests, what they’ve done that day and what they’d like to do. I sometimes take cues from the way they’re dressed and ask them things based on obvious interests (if they’re wearing an MLP t-shirt or something, for example). The age of the person I’m talking with also applies, as does gender, and I can base my convo accordingly. If I’m chatting it up with someone I know a little better I might talk about something more candid, because getting personal can really open things up and add some great levels of interest to things. 1
Treeglow Flicker 13,889 February 20 Share February 20 A trick I learned, was to take an element of the last thing the person said and expand on that point to keep the conversation going to the point it leads to other topics naturally. A little difficult when they only respond with one word answers though.
