“Don’t worry, we’ll find them for you.” Global said reassuringly.

She was beginning to get a bit antsy, however, upon realizing just how urgent this mission was. She didn’t want the buffalo to be without its parents for too long, especially considering how young it was. In a low whisper, she said to Fluttershy,

“Could you help me find the buffalo’s parents?”

"I can help." Fluttershy answered as she looked at the little buffalo. "Oh you poor little thing..." She said sadly as the little buffalo was placed on her back. There seemed to be a presence nearby, but it could hardly be felt. Celestia could know something about this presence...

"I'm sensing a strong presence. I can't really detect what or who it is. Gah, if only my sister Luna was here. Speaking of which, we must find her as soon as possible. We can't afford losing her due to the fact that she could transfrom into Nightmare Moon again..." Celestia stated.

“S-she can still do that, even though she’s a spirit? Eh-Your Highness!” Global asked before she quickly sputtered out Celestia’s title. She felt that the princess deserved to hear her title at all times, just how she liked her students to refer to her always as Ms. Gleam.

Global furrowed a brow then stood by Celestia’s side. She was worried for the fate of both princesses. She was glad she entrusted Fluttershy with the buffalo in case she was needed here with Celestia. Looking up patiently, she waited in case Celestia wanted to instruct her to go with her somewhere.

"I think you and I ought to go look for Luna ourselves. Time is slipping. Nightmare Moon in spirit form is nothing to mess with. Let's leave at once." Celestia said making sure that Global was ready. So far, Ponyville and Apploosa have ponies working to restore. With Luna restored, it would be a huge help with calming tormented spirits who are close to going insane.

“That’s exactly what I was thinking, Your Highness, let’s go.” said Global determinedly.

She thought about saying goodbye to Pinkie, Braeburn, and Fluttershy, but quickly realized that they were too busy to stop what they were doing. Hopefully the journey wouldn’t take too long to where they would get worried about Global. Well, if they were worried, Celestia probably had the power to send them a signal. With that in mind, Global followed Celestia to their next destination.

Celestia took the lead with haste. She turned around to Global. "Okay, hold still Global. I'm going to give you wings for some time so we could travel faster." Celestia said lighting her horn and preparing a wing spell.

Celestia fired a tingly beam at Global. True feathery pegasus wings grew on her sides. They would fade after a certain time. "Now let's get going. I suspect Luna's spirit is up in the Crystal mountains, one of the most desolate places in Equestria." Celestia stated.

Global struggled to push herself up into the air for a few moments but quickly felt her hooves ascending after a few patient flaps of her new wings. When she felt comfortable, she followed after Celestia and did her best to match her pace. It was a good thing that Celestia was leading considering how far behind Global was. Oh well, she would catch up eventually, right?

Celestia slowed down a little. "Keep up Global. Every second matters with my sister." Celestia said as she sped up a little more, thinking about Luna's spirit. She hoped they would be there before anything happens.

Global nodded and pushed herself further, forcing herself to ignore her racing heart for now. Luna needed to be located as quickly as possible; there was no time for novice level flying! Although Global was still behind Celestia, she was close enough to where she could easily get bucked in the face by the princess if she wasn’t careful. Hopefully that was an adequate distance to be at for now.

Celestia continued to fly. The air started to grow colder as they neared the Crystal Empire, which had lost its light due to the lack of actual crystal ponies to keep it shining. They should probably go there after restoring Luna.

Global tried to keep her breathing steady in order to avoid passing out, but found the task harder to complete when the air began to turn icy. Her and the princess were passing over the Crystal Empire, although instead of bright and glittery scenery, the empire was extremely dim and cold. That probably resulted from the lack of ponies around to renew the Crystal Heart. Global wished she could add some love to the place, but she could not abandon her current mission.

The Crystal Mountains were in sight. The air had grown as cold as winter, and the winds started to pick up. Celestia started to descend. She lit her horn to enhance her senses. "I know you're out there sister." She called out. There was no response.

Celestia began to descend, meaning they were getting closer; or at least, Global Gleam hoped they were getting closer. Global observed as Celestia used some sort of spell to locate Luna. She hoped that it could give her a lead.

She tried helping out herself by pricking up her ears and swiveling her head back-and-forth to get a better view. She looked for any oddly placed blues, the flapping of giant wings, teal magic, just anything that would be a dead giveaway of the princess. At the moment, all Global could see were mountains.

Celestia landed on the snowy ground. She could feel something around...and so could Global. Perhaps it could be Luna. They would have to hurry. "I feel something. It could be Luna. We may just be on time, but we still must hurry." Celestia said.

Global finally landed, feeling the icy snow on her hooves. She took a quick moment to breathe. Once she was able to slow her breathing down a bit, she noticed that she felt a presence nearby. Could it be Luna?

Celestia encouraged Global to move forwards, so she nodded and did as she was asked. She folded her wings and allowed them to rest for a while. It felt really good to get back on her hooves.

Something seemed to whizz by Global, causing her to lose her balance. There could be a powerful spirit somewhere and it could be Luna. Celestia gasped. She felt something. "What was that?" She asked.

The spirit zipped past Global again, this time tripping her right off of her hooves. Celestia lit her horn and performed a temporary spirit hold. "Gotcha!" She said. The spirit let out a yelp. "Sister let go!" It called out. This was definately Luna.

“L-Luna!” Global gasped.

She trotted towards the ensnared soul in order to calm her down. The less she struggled, the easier it would be to talk to her. Despite how tired Global’s wings were, she flew up to meet Luna at eye level.

“Luna, it’s okay, it’s just Celestia, and me, Global Gleam. We’re here to help you.” she said soothingly.

Luna gasped. "Who's there?" She asked still struggling in Celestia's spirit hold, causing Celestia to grunt. Maybe Celestia should loosen up on Luna's grip...it could be Celestia's own fear of losing Luna to Nightmare Moon again...

“Your Highness, um, I think you’re holding onto Luna too tightly. You might wanna loosen up so she can look around or at least breath.” Global suggested timidly.

Normally making a request like that wouldn’t scare her, but she was speaking to a princess here. Not just a princess, but a mourning princess. She had to be extremely cautious in this situation. She hoped that Celestia would understand that Luna would only struggle more if she was clung too tightly.
