gaming The Great PS3/PSP/Vita Digital Recommendations thread before the stores shut down in July/August

Since Sony is shutting down digital stores in July(August for Vita), For the sake of preservation, I feel like now would be a good time to make some recommendations of games to get before the stores shutdown, because either some of these games are digital only or they're rereleases of games that are very difficult to obtain and currently these platforms are the only legal way you can get some of these games, especially since after the announcement many of them are beginning to shoot up in price(*looks at Megaman Legends and Klonoa).

Trying to avoid bringing up glaring omissions like the PS1 Final Fantasy games or Castlevania Symphony of the Night, or your typical multiplatform game because most of those games are currently available in other platforms including the PS4 and PC, so right now I'm trying to keep most of the attention to games where the audience is more limited.

Feel free to make bring up your own list of recommendations, because lord knows there's tons of games I'm still missing

Crash Bandicoot and Kingdom Hearts were the first things that crossed my mind when I saw what the list was missing, but to avoid the inevitable "There are better versions of those games on the PS4!" counter, I'll just say PaRappa the Rapper for PS1 games. I know that it has a remaster on PS4, but it's not held in high regard. Also, while I do believe that the Anthology versions of Final Fantasy V and VI on PS should be preserved despite the fact that the GBA versions of those games are far superior, you should add Final Fantasy Origins (I & II) to that list for consistency.

I'm still considering including the Spyro and Crash games because even though the remakes exists, I do think the originals are different enough to take into consideration, even if only visually

Fuck it, I'll add them to the list

As for FF, that reminds me that I completely forgot the PSP has the best version of FF IV too

As well as arguably the best versions of I & II. 

I was also going to say Devil May Cry 1-4, but those have now been ported to...just about everything now, so I'll suggest an oddball one with Yu-Gi-Oh! Forbidden Memories for the PS1.  While we're at it, Duelist of the Roses for the PS2 and the Tag Force games for the PSP. Obviously, Yu-Gi-Oh!'s not for everyone and most fans are playing Legacy of the Duelist and Yu-Gi-Oh! Online now. However, you would be shocked learning about the cult following for those early games, Forbidden Memories especially.

I never really bought any digital games on PS3, but one that I'd recommend getting before servers shut down is Motorstorm RC, either on PS3 or Vita.

I...guess this isn't the place for oddball suggestions, so I'll bring up one everyone knows that I'm shocked I didn't notice right away, Resident Evil 1-3. I also noticed the absence of Silent Hill 2, 3, 4, and Origins, but then remembered that those games are notorious for stupidly not being on the PS store. I would've also mentioned SaGa Frontier, an old, underrated PS1 exclusive Square RPG if only it was on the PS store...

...or so I thought because it's getting a PS4 remastered version on there soon, so that's definitely better than nothing.

I forgot about them because of the remakes, but yeah, they're completely different from those, so I'll add them, thanks for the heads up
