"*I don't care for invading anyone.*" Ruby concluded, using her native language due to there being more ears to hear and she rather didn't talk about invasion with others around. She took a seat on her own throne, though she preferred the one in her own room, more her style .

Regarding the rebel problem, she again decided to keep her words between her and Quasi "*Will we send guards there or should I go deal with the pest problem myself?*" "*Latter would probably be quicker, it's not like you need me to come up with answers to questions, it could also help with morale*" she addressed the citizen "Since you didn't mention it, where exactly is this happening?"

"I don't think she has fully realized it even herself yet, she seems to be bit wary of close relationships." Cinder said to Arrow, sounding surprisingly serious "Can't blame her." she shrugged.

As she turned to speak to Sky, her demeanor went back to the usual again "Since when have guests invited guests to weddings of others?" "Not that I would know, I don't think I've been invited to any of the ceremonies I've taken part in."

The nightwing gave Ruby a map marking points up north.

"The militia has been gather information, I've overheard from a sandwing that the hivewings are funding the rebellion. I've found out today. The hivewings want the nightwings to fall, they're afraid that the silkwings that they treat terribly will rebel from inspiration from the nightwings."

"I see. The hivewings are an oppressive people. They don't get to even choose their own jobs. They treat the silkwings as servants."

"I think we should go to war with them."

"Wouldn't be wise. We'll send out gunboats and have the guards detain anyone coming from that land. Anyone caught aiding the rebels will be arrested and if guilty executed. They don't have resources to properly retaliate with military force. They don't have proper boats and the distance is far. They can't flight straight to our land."

He turned to Ruby.

"We should send a warning to the Hivewings that there will be severe consequences if they help the rebels."

Ruby just agreed with a nod, though she spoke to Quasi after that, again keeping the Citizen out of what she said "*We should also look into the possibly to inspire an uprising there, and naturally, we will protect any silkwings seeking refuge here.*" this was exactly what Ruby wanted this nation to be, a safe place to those oppressed by rest of the worlds, be it through might, law or morality, as long as they didn't cause trouble inside this nation, she would personally make sure they would be free in her land. 

And since Quasi had entirely ignored her question, Ruby made her own decision "We will be sending backup to deal with the ongoing rebel problem, do you have any kind of estimation on how many rebels we are talking about?" "Or if any Earthling weapons have been used?" she didn't know how much this what was basically a messenger knew, but she figured more she could figure out the better, mainly so that she could decide if the guards can actually handle it or if she would go herself to deal with it.

"Like said, wouldn't know, never been invited, usually just show up." Cinder said dismissively "This is also the first wedding where someone doesn't die, or at least not by my hand." she shrugged "Who knows, maybe some of those rebel idiots actually try to crash the wedding."

"*Yes, this would eliminate a major threat, I don't know that all the hivewings like Queen Wasp. She is able control them all, putting her mind in their minds. If we someone used silkwing dna and mixed that into living hivewings, we could put an end to that ability. Perhaps the Equestrians have something. Let's form what those Americans would call an underground railroad, a secret escape route, not an actual railroad. We should discuss this later.*"

"Many. Our scouts suspect about 1000 attacking farms. We suspect there are at least 20,000 sandwings that are terrorists. They're loyal to Queen Thorn, under impression she supports them however, I feel that they are wrong in this thinking, I'm aware Queen Thorn is trying to keep good relations with us."

"They're outnumbered."

"The military does well where they are. Then there's the militias. Their movement is... underground, metaphorically, though many of the terrorists are veterans of a recent war in this world. No earthling weapons they weren't able to get ahold of any. They tried to take weapons from the fallen attackers, too small won't fit dragon talons."

"Your militias are doing well. We'll send guards to aid the militias. If you find out the enemy command structure or anything for it, I want the militias to report to us."

"I'll make sure it is done."

It was clear the militias were respected both the leaders of Starlania.

"*I have an idea. Perhaps Ember will help make the command structure... not be there anymore. We could use our more elite soldiers also.*"

"I don't know that they have any genuine control, not enough dragons but they are enough to cause trouble. Honestly, the sandwings would have a lot of trouble killing Ruby and Quasi. One is... militarily skilled. The other is a natural killer."

Ruby simply nodded at the first thing, she agreed, they should discuss it later.

"*If they are inside our borders, I can deal with them personally, I don't know if Ember's morality would match our goals...that weird lookalike she brought with her in other claw.*" She then addressed the citizen one last time "One more thing, if there's any sudden turns on the situation that lead to the backup not being sufficient enough, don't hesitate to inform us, I'll come personally to deal with it if need arises." honestly it was close she didn't just get up right now and go deal with it, it was hard to let others do things when you didn't know how to trust anyone's capabilities.

"They have put themselves into a lose lose situation, they obviously can't kill Ruby, she has seen lot worse than anything they could come up, and if they would manage to kill Quasi, all that would do would be removal of any limits on Ruby, making her even more dangerous." Cinder said thoughtfully "I hate governments as much as anyone, but stupid rebellion is a stupid rebellion." "I will predict it right now, the whole rebellion thing will only end up rising the approval of Ruby and Quasi."

The citizen gave a nod. When he was dismissed, he headed out, probably to go back to his militia. Quasi would call upon a high ranking guard and have him gather his soldiers and send them off to help the militias try and put down the small rebellion. While there was no good way for the sandwings occupy anything, they were still a problem, killing citizens and stealing farms. Along with extorting nightwing businesses.

"One suggested they be treated like foreign attackers. They never accepted citizenship meaning we can send soldiers to just kill them."

"I've dealt with terrorists. These ones aren't very impressive to me. Can't even fight their own battles. Maybe you should offer your services to Ruby if you're anything like your sister, you'll probably do well."

"I agree, but don't see why citizenship would protect them, if you work with the enemy, you are the enemy, I don't care if your name is on some list somewhere." Ruby stated, as she saw it, having extra protection due to citizenship was stupid, since it would only invite enemies to try to use that loophole against them. "We can't give our enemies ways to abuse our own rules against us."

"I don't offer my services, my customers seek me out." Cinder stated "And I have a good feeling that the coming meeting between myself and Ruby will involve business." "They most likely will ask Ember first to do something, and while I don't doubt my sister's capabilities, her morals can be...limiting, so they will turn to me." she had a knowing grin on her face "You could say I have a.. intuition for these things."

Quasi gave Ruby a nod and got up when he noticed something. That cat that followed them seemed to be conversing with another cat. It was as if they were trying to keep unseen. And then he noticed... he could sense their emotions. He went back and grabbed some a few pieces of paper and wrote down something to translate cat language for both Quasi and Ruby though he was a distance from Ruby at this moment.

Quasi would go over to Ruby.

"*Ruby, the cats, their watching us. That cat that likes you so much... it's a spy!"

Ruby kinda just blinked at Quasi "*Cats tend to be like that, always scheming for world domination.*" it was hard to tell if she was being serious or if she was joking "*Though I guess you should figure out if it's an actual threat*" regardless of if she actually was serious with the first statement or not, she took the threat seriously, mainly because the cats may not be cats, and instead be something like a changeling pretending to be one, she also knew there existed a species of cats that walked on two legs and were more intelligent than the four legged ones, but she didn't know all of their capabilities, and using four legged ones to spy was a potential.

"They've discovered us, it's your fault. Chrysalis is gonna be mad. Quick! Pretend we're cats from that book!"

"Chrysalis is the leader of your worries. Transform to your normal forms."

The cats would turn into changelings. Unreformed changelings.

"You could've kept up the act and convinced us you were cats. Now if you transform, we won't hesitate to kill you."

"This is your fault Mitch, you said this would work."

"Me? You blown our cover. Now how are we going to find a way to kidnap the two monarchs and replace them? We could've easily wiped out Thorax's hive with dragons."

"Stop announcing everything! Are you going to announce that we've been working with hivewings to fund that rebellion? Until that thing happened hear the leaders are supposed to meet to figure out about what to do with those refugees."

"Guards chain these two. We need to interrogate them.?

He turned to Ruby.

"*Should we have some guards hunt down Chrysalis? Perhaps public execution is in order. Not only for the changeling queen but for those two. They're foreign attackers so the process is easier.*"

"General go with a diplomat! Take our place at that meeting, don't offer to send our armies unless it affects our land to that point. If it's one of those things where we need to send someone from one of our lands or whatever, send the seeress Moonwatcher."

He turned to Ruby.

"*That covers everything. That general will deal with the lost continent prophecy, poisoned dragons and all that garbage, not our problem directly with the general handling the issue. However we still got other things to deal with. I thought being a king would be easy. Turns out it's harder than pushing for independence. At least that wedding will gain morale among the land. It seems the nightwings really respect you. They see you as strong.*"

Guards would run past, something about a changeling or whatever.

"Do you think these guards are competent?"

"I've seen incompetence, those guards seem to know what they're doing. We've suspected Chrysalis was out there. Probably has a few followers left. We have reports that Chrysalis supporters in Thorax's hive either reformed or left. Now we know where they went. Or at least to who. With the little I know of Ruby, she will probably kill Chrysalis herself if she gets the chance to."

Ruby just observed the situation going down, hearing their plan she relaxed, she didn't see them as a threat, she had made sure she couldn't just be replaced or mind controlled without someone noticing, that of course ignoring it would be very hard to capture her in the first place, and even if they somehow got past all that, they couldn't just lead the army against a random place, since it had been made into quite a complicated legal process to start a war  against a nation that didn't attack first, she was sure it was made so to stop her, but she had no interest in starting pointless wars, so she didn't care.

 "*They should make sure she isn't inside our borders, if not found, there shall be a bounty on her head, dead or alive, capture encouraged, but killing not punished, the militias should also be informed that non-reformed changelings are to be considered enemies.*" "*We should probably also inform Equestria that if they want her alive, they better find her before we do.*" "*a full investigation to any reports of someone acting weird should also be done, we need to make sure they haven't made any successful replacements, their magic is only illusions, so there's lot of things they can't do, it should be easy enough to find them.*" 

"*And while I don't want to give them any fame, I agree on the public execution, let's make it clear to everyone that this isn't Equestria, here enemies don't get friendship and redemption, nor will we waste resources to keep them locked up, here they die without respect, without honor.*" 

"*I'm not surprised about all of this nonsense, any time someone tries to bring freedom, there's those against it, they don't like it when their power is threatened, they don't like it when someone goes against their ideals....I just wonder, what did they do to that poor kitten?*" she knew for a fact it had been an actual cat originally, since there wouldn't have been any reason to spy on her when it appeared, that and she wasn't an idiot, she knew a cat when she saw one, this one had just slipped her due to her not really paying attention, she had almost forgotten the whole cat, it being so small compared to her.

Cinder chuckled to herself, she had hit close to home it seems, considering the quick topic change, shame really, it wasn't fun when someone changed the topic any time they got uncomfortable, none of the hints she left about herself seemed to catch either.

"I don't know if Ruby cares enough to care who kills her, to her Chrysalis is probably just an insect to be squashed, more literally this time than usual."

"Guards. I want posters everywhere. All non-reformed changelings are to be turned in or killed on sight. I want there to be pictures of what they look like and information on how they act on those posters. Give a description of their scent as well. All civilians that turn any in or kill any will be well rewarded. Also, I want that kitten found, whoever brings the kitten home safely will be rewarded as well."

He looked at Ruby.

"*We best interrogate these two. We should also notify Thorax of the situation, he may be able to give us information on how changelings operate."

Quasi checked on the royal pet lizard. He was fine, no sign of trouble there.

"We should get you a little costume."

A changeling would go to attack the lizard, only to get bit. The lizard would then go over and stare up at Ruby with a blank lizard stare. Guards would immediately put the changelings in chains.

"If they try to escape, kill them."

"Ruby will probably have Chrysalis executed, killing that changeling herself. It would send a message. My land doesn't like to execute anyone, killing is more of a thing done if necessary. Myra when she was princess and not Beta of the land started a civil war and was pardoned after she surrendered, showing remorse. But that's because her father was alpha."

Alpha and Beta were basically king and queen in Nomadkian nations.

"Her brother, a pacifist convinced Myra to surrender."

"He holds no anger at Ruby who thought it was a good idea to kill the soldiers he was giving gifts to and then broke his ribs or something. Or was it his legs? Whatever, he's a pretty nice guy. Only kills animals for hunting, carnivores and all that. Hasn't got it in him to kill a sapient creature. Forgave a coyote named Gladius, a coyote that was one of my generals, had his... or our mother killed."

"*I doubt we get anything out of them, they probably fear whatever Chrysalis will do to them more than death.*" Ruby stated, "*Though I guess it should be seen if you can dig anything out of their minds*"

"And don't get fooled by their illusions." She added to Quasi's order, before responding to the lizard's stare with the same blank stare, truly an interaction between two gods.

"Ruby clearly wanted to send a message, leaving someone alive like that." Cinder noted thoughtfully "But as much as it may come as a surprise, I actually have some respect for pacifists, sure I think they are stupid, but I respect the dedication to one's believes, not many are ready to die for sake of keeping up a personal rule."

Looking into their minds Quasi would find good information.

"*Queen Chrysalis is within our nation. It seems some have been replaced, not as much as they want, too many dragons willing to defend themselves. Mostly elderly dragons and wounded dragons that cannot fight. Also animals. They seem to avoid tourists, as it would cause suspicion and start a war a they couldn't hope to win. Keeping this incident secret is pointless as we still have to warn the citizens and military.*"

"I want queen Chrysalis found. When she is found, we shall have her killed. Nightwings have a powerful sense of smell, a proper description on their scent will help detect changelings. All non-reformed changelings must be turned in or even killed if they put up a fight during capture. Try to capture Queen Chrysalis alive, we want to make a point to any nation and group that thinks they can have our land. We will hold a public execution of these two changelings here to make a point."

He turned to Ruby.

"*What should we do with the captured Earthling attackers?"*

"*We'll execute them non-publicly and send their bodies back to earth, there's no point for public show with them since they're merely mercenaries, but there's also no reason to give them any kind of special treatment, enemy is an enemy, no matter the motivation.*" Ruby stated "*I can kill them myself, don't want to force anyone to do our dirty work, though we could start looking for an executioner, I'm sure there's someone besides me who would enjoy spilling some blood, and it would be one potential murderer out of the streets, as they can satisfy their bloodlust as a job.*"

"*Our nation's faces threats. A rebellion and changelings. Both can be stopped. The changelings are a major problem. It's best to not allow Thorax to send soldiers to help due to similar smell. We could use information on changeling tactics, Thorax would know these things. Mercenaries, wanted money and now they'll get death.*"

"*We should set up a defense system in case any nukes come through that portal. I want to organize our army to be able to be anywhere in a matter of hours. I've already decided that no one is allowed to launch anything into space on this world.*"

"I'm pretty happy with Dasonia. They've manage to somehow genetically engineers trees to be fire proof unless their dead. Probably because a forest fire would literally cripple the nation and maybe even destroy it. Speaking of fire, a byzantine ship that was destroyed washed up on Dasonian shores, we basically have Greek fire. Did you know it sticks to things and even works in water?"

"*I agree.*"  Ruby stated, getting up from the throne and walking to a window, looking outside "*It saddens me that to stop those I despise most, we must become them."* she wasn't actually sad, just disappointed "*Excessive technology and magic, armies, governments, world policing.*" "*It sure takes a lot to just be left alone these days.*"

"*The are uncertain times. That war was the first time America was on defcon 1. Right now, Starlania stands on high alert. More aggressive nations on Earth and Equus look for weakness, as do terrorists. One terrorist group though Equestria showed weakness, Princess Luna proved them wrong. I think that the nation those mercenaries came from took no action as a means to check our nation for weakness. They found only strength.*"

Quasi would walk down to the prison under the castle. There was no bars, no way to stick one's hand or hoof through. Quasi's idea. There were doors but they required a key to open. The metal had a melting point higher than what any dragon could produce.

"Guards gather all the mercenaries!"

The guard would gather the mercenaries to a room.

"Well, you guys committed some serious crimes. Under your earth laws, using a civilian ship to sneak through defense is actually a war crime meaning that Earthling nations won't sanction us if we execute you. While I hate having to do this, we know you'd just go and do your thing again if we release you."

"*You want to kill them? We'll make the changeling execution public to send a message to Chrysalis.*"

After a little bit of time, other guests to the wedding would show up to the castle. One was a white coyote, the one Ruby and Quasi met earlier.

"Is Miror not coming?"

"He's dealing with political stuff. My father thinks it's good practice for him for when we take up leadership. I've already had my practice with that war."

"So he will handle politics and you handle war? Seems fair."

"True to an extent. I'll steal handle some politics but Miror will be handling very little in terms of war. Maybe peace talks. Besides Ruby doesn't really care for him it seems as Ruby crushed some of his bones."

"Seems cowardly to crush bones of someone who won't fight back."

"We put our armies on high alert after that. No need for compensation since Miror gets free medical treatment."

"We should kindly and firmly make it clear that we will kill her if she does it again as she will be seen as a threat to our nations."

"Cool let's go threaten Ruby!"

A guard would show up.

"I guess that's a diplomatic threat. She's down in the dungeon dealing with prisoners. Just don't attack the queen or she will probably kill you before the guards can kill you."

Ruby had never understood the layout of the castle fully, there had been dungeons in the basement of the castle, dungeons she had made into her personal floor, yet there was also dungeons under the castle, still a stupid location in her opinion, but at least it made more sense than in the castle's basement, but why were there two places in the first place?

She didn't say much on the way down, as she had nothing to say, and she paid barely any attention to the humans that were brought in front of them, from the look on her face, they truly were less than nothing to her. "If you worship any gods, now's the time to pray." she waited for few moments, then she just coldly slammed her tail at the prisoners, killing anyone hit either instantly or very quickly, it was really a miracle the bodies stayed intact, be it mangled, and for those not getting hit, she equally coldly crushed them with her legs. She didn't seem to take any pleasure out of it, rather she looked like it was a chore to be gotten over with.

"Collect the bodies and send them to earth, they can deal with their own waste, if anyone asks, tell them I said hi."

Cinder just cracked up on the background, she no longer had interest in joining the conversation, but she found it absolutely hilarious what was said about Ruby.

Ember in other hoof, appeared from close by  "You know, I won't be supporting you if you pick a fight with Ruby, while she technically would fill my requirements for a job, just no." she wasn't wearing her armor, nor carrying her weapon, after all, she hadn't come here to fight anyone. "And honestly, while I disagree with her in almost everything, she seems to be the right individual to lead this nation, she's clearly liked, and oddly enough, may be one of the least corrupted leaders I've seen"

Sky and the others with him walked down to Ruby with a guard guiding them.

"our actions on that Dasonian camp are forgiven as per our beliefs but, we must warn you against attacking our people in the future as we'll see you as a threat and we'll be forced to take action."

"In his mind that's a polite wording of they'll kill us if we attack their people. It seems he just wants to ensure we don't attack them."

He looked at Sky.

"We have no plans on starting a war or attacking your people. However, they are subject to our laws if any of them come over here, as are you. Should you or any of your people commit murder or try to kill us or something else. Those that are responsible will be punished. We also agree that anyone that visits your nation are subject to your laws and will allow you to punish anyone who breaks your laws on your land as you see fit."

"Understood."

Surprisingly, this was pretty civil. Quasi had no interest in starting any trouble and he knew that Sky was just trying to protect his people just as Quasi and Ruby are trying to protect theirs. And to be fair, if some dragon attacked one of his peoples camps and started a country after, he'd want to sort that out too. The baby coyote would look at Ruby and let out a little howl.

"I think the baby is challenging you."

Ruby didn't seem too impressed by the words said, and she was going to say her opinion on the matter "If you don't want to get attacked, don't start a war." she stated "There was a war, and we were on different sides, I couldn't care less what you think about my actions during a war, as your judgment is very one-sided, and ignores the fact that even your enemies are living beings." "When Earth is made to pay for their various actions from their history, maybe then I can apologize for my own." "And lastly, what happened, should not affect the current day, the nation under which the acts were committed, no longer exists, and the current nation you are visiting, did not exist back then. Even if it was personal, it should not affect this nation, as I am not the one you will do diplomacy with, only reason for me to pay any attention to your kind as a whole, would be if we are already in a war." 

All of this came out in surprisingly polite manner "And since Quasi's words didn't really make it clear, our policy is simple, we won't start wars, but we will end them." it reinforced her message if one was to look past her at the bodies of those she had just executed, and the...mess, she had gotten over herself from doing it.

What came to the baby, Ruby just turned her face towards it and blew out a small and harmless cloud of warm smoke at it, this was probably the most playful thing she had done up to this point.

Sky didn't want a war. It would be painful for both sides.

"We don't intend to start any wars, simply not worth it. While Equestria agreed to help us if we're attacked, I don't think they'll help us if we attack someone without reason."

One of the only relations outside his lands. If it weren't for perceived threat of these powerful beings, he'd be at home.

"Those things still concern me. It's one thing to be able to destroy someone but, being willing to destroy someone over being annoyed is a major problem. We're here because you have something to threaten them with."

Strings would speak up.

"If they're willing to attack us, they're willing to attack you."

"We're not asking you to go to war. We just want you to let them know that they can be hurt if they do something bad."

Quasi looked thoughtful with what was said.

"Didn't you say Equestria would protect you? Can't they just use the elements of harmony or something?"

Ruby stated "But even if we are to assume they are lying, there's really only two options, either we are powerful enough to threaten them, or not, and in either case, there's nothing we need to do, if we are powerful enough to threaten them, they are unlikely to attack, as they would lose the war against us, if we are not, threatening would only speed up the inevitable, as they would wipe us out of existence." "Thus, the best course of action from us, like from everyone else, is to follow the single request they had, and leave them alone." "Sometimes the best way to avoid angry dragon's attack, is to not go poke it with a stick while it sleeps."

"We'll keep an eye on the situation but, we won't take action unless there is a threat to our world. Or maybe Equestria, we get good trade from them and their magic is very useful. But even then, we have ways to harness that magic without them now. To go into some else's war would be an unnecessary risk for our nation. And that's assuming a war even starts. They wanted her homeland left alone and that's pretty much covered with them giving us permission to own and protect that land. We best make sure nothing happens to this dragon here though."
