During March through May 2020, on the sports site Secret Base, two guys known as Jon Bois and Alex Rubenstein, did a 6-part Dorktown documentary series about the History of the Seattle Mariners.  A Major League Baseball team that these guys say is “eminently lovable, profoundly human, and stunningly, outrageously weird.”  And as a “fascinating team across the entire history of American sports.”  The Mariners started playing games in 1977.

Now Bois and Rubenstein are at it again with a 7-part Dorktown documentary series about the History of the Atlanta Falcons:blink:  Yeah, the team that started playing games in 1966:dry:

Going by calculations, with part 1 coming in August, we’ll be getting an episode every month.

And to fully conclude February 2022 before Valentine’s Day:love: with Super Bowl LVI happening in Los Angeles.

Warning advisory for some bad language.

At centerpiece of this video is the high stakes football game involving our supposed “hero” against Boston’s Evil Empire:stressed: of the NFL:eww: and not that very assumed tough team in Pittsburgh:mlp_icwudt:

Super Bowl LI

Fueled with political flamed air on February 5th, 2017.  In Houston, Texas and not far a distance of a dishonest:unamused: and most hated:glimmer: Major League Baseball team up the road.  And word of unfortunate warning to the Mane 6, all ponies and even all of Fluttershy’s animals, ready the Ambulance and please say you’ll find a crying Scootaloo:( and brace her with loads of hugs:(  She’s going to need all the heartbreak and misery lifted off her:awed:

On the other side of this, our chicken Scootaloo, or should I say our chocking chicken is an Atlanta Falcons fan.  That scene in “The Washouts” episode of MLP:  FiM where Scootaloo gets yelled at by Spitfire (A.K.A. a Philadelphia Eagles fan):mlp_okiedokieloki: makes a ton of sense now.  Before that there was “Sleepless in Ponyville” where Scootaloo was scared to s:sealed::sealed::sealed: over those scary stories Rainbow Dash told her.  Chicken Scootaloo came back in “Campfire Tales”.  Now she has numbers to fear for blowing it, 28-3.  Pile on the Scootaloo, chicken, chocking and Atlanta Falcons memes on this thread if you must:worry:
