Am I the only one who sees similarties between Somepony to Watch Over Me, and Little Red Ridding Hood

So I just rewatched the episode Somepony to Watch Over Me, and it got me thinking. There are quite a few Similarites between it and Little Red Ridding Hood.

Apple Bloom=Little Red Ridding Hood

Pie Cart=Basket of Treats

Swamp Town=Grandma's House

Chimera=Big Bad Wolf

Sweetie Belle Disgused as Apple Bloom in Bed=Wolf Disgused as Grandma in Bed

Scootaloo in The Closet=Grandma in The Closet

Applejack=Hunter/Woodsman

So does anyone else see those similartes or am I the only one?

That's no surprise considering a guy made music videos using the "hello little girl" and "I know things now" song from into the woods using footage from that episode.

I doubt it, since this is not the first time FiM made references to fairy tales. The glass slipper smashing joke from The Best Night Ever, way back in Season 1, was an obvious joke on Cinderella.

Not surprised. MLP FIM had some great references. As @CloudMistDragon referred to the glass slipper in S1, there are plenty of references to look out for.
