" Greetings Princess" She bowed, " And StoneWall I presume. It is a pleasure to make you acquaintance. I suspect you noticed me observing. I am Nightingale's tutor, but perhaps I should teach you a thing or two as well." She looked him directly in the eyes, "I am sorry but I do not know anything about you but your name, can you please humor me with your station of authority?" She asked the question politely but subtly had an undertone of curiosity and sassyness.

Stonewall stared straight back into her eyes, not even blinking. "As you already know my name, I shall continue. My father is the Lord of Westriver. I imagine you might not have heard of it, as it is quite a ways from here. So, I will give a short synopsis. Westriver is a large town, mainly populated by unicorns. We have an expansive academy which I studied at as a foal. Our specilization is primarily in the water, but there are various fruit farms and mercantile buisnesses. Primarily, our knowledge of the water is used in long voyages over the water where airships are less useful due to ocean breezes. As I am the third colt born to my father, I have the station of Count."

Splinter's jaw dropped. ''Okay... I know Ebony Here. I've been sent by Commander to assist you, Stonewall.. In protecting Ebony.'' Said Splinter as gazing at Ebony. His iris's began to become red and his face became bright red.

Ebony looked at Splinter as he spoke. She half smiled when he looked at him, then looked back at Artemisia. "You'll have to excuse me. May we continue the lesson later? I'd enjoy going out to the garden before night falls.." She glanced at Stonewall, thinking about the creatures that lurked in the shadows, waiting for her. She smiled and went back to her room, using her magic to remove her dress. She put her main accessories back on; her tiara, slippers, and necklace.

Stonewall remained standing, instead of taking his newfound compatriants stance. "Well, you know something about me already, or as much as pertains to my lineage and homeland. I suppose it would only be fair for you to tell me something about yourself first." Meanwhile, he looked at Artemisia out of the corner of his eye. Turning his attention back to Splinter, he huffed to himself. It had been an interesting day so far, and the sun was still in the upper sky. Regrettably, a guard made his way into the room. "Count," he adressed Stonewall. "I have heard some news from your father. He sends his best wishes, and says that you are to remember his orders. Aswell, the Prince and King Ironmane have finished negotiations, and have left the castle." Nodding his thanks to the guard, Stonewall turned back to Splinter.

Ebony walked back over to Stonewall and Splinter. "So the stallions are gone, are they?" She smiled. "I'm glad they worked that out...and that they're gone." She looked out the window, then back at Stonewall. "May we go into the gardens?"

Artemisia pretended to turn her attention back to her scroll, but out of the corner of her eye and her ears she watched and listened to Stone Wall.He seems well raised, well bred, and a gentlecolt too. Proper company for the princess but he needs to know his boundarys. She looked at him out of the corner of her eye. If anypony can protect her though, he would be one.I hope he is trustworthy. She was very deep in thought at this point. With all these ponys how was she supposed to go her job? She decided that she must teach more...hands on...in order to fit into the Princess' schedule. She would remain with her for most of the day and at all functions untill she was ready.

 

Once the Ebony entered she turned her attention towards her. "A stroll would be enjoyable, If it pleases you I would care to join you." She curtsied with her request.

Stonewall looked a window to see the position of the sun. It was still a good portion above the horizon, though time was running short. Nodding to the Princess, he smiled. "You have no need to ask my permission on every subject. I will simply advise you on when the situation becomes to dangerous for you to go or remain... such as right now." Looking out the window, he sighed. "We had best get going if we want to have some fun before the sun sets entirely. Also, Artemisia, as her tutor I think you would be most suited to come with us. Not all teaching comes through lectures after all." As he waited for them to leave, he made his way over to the mare and said, "While I would not normally presume so much, but I would ask that you assist with her daily schedule. It is important that she gets to planned events while having time to relax."

''Let's have some Fun! I know just the place.'' Said Splinter as smiling.

Ebony smiled and went outside, sighing contently at the fresh air. She looked over at Splinter then to the trees. She heard a nightingale sing a few notes, and she smiled. She took a few steps towards the tree and sang also.

Artemisia nodded to the stallion. "Quite right you are." It appeared that they were both looking out for the Princess' best interest. "I am glad that you share my views on learning, a classroom can get ever so dull. The best way to learn is hooves-on experience." She curtsied, for he was of a higher rank than her although she had the rank of a lady, and then continued out to the gardens behind Ebony. Her voice was absolutely lovely, she thought.

Ebony let the nightingale land on her hoof, and sang along with it.

Splinter's eyes shined. ''Your Singing is... Beautiful.'' Said Splinter as blushing.

Artemisia smiled at the beautiful sound, and wandered among the rows of lovely flowers.

She looked at Splinter and smiled. "Thank you." She held a note with the nightingale, going up and down in pitch.

keep going, she'll just be singing and like Hig said, he's going to be bed and he'll be back tomorrow, just pretend like he's still with them but don't talk to him//

"My apologize but I am tired and a tad famished. I will retire for the night." She said her goodbyes and went to her new chambers, nearer to the Princesses, and went to sleep.

 

 

(I should go, I'll be back tomorrow afternoon(school sorry ) and hop back in then gnight)

"Goodnight." Ebony called after her. She turned back to the nightingale on her hoof and sang.

Splinter blushed and smiled. ''I take it that the nightingales enjoy whistling!'' Said Splinter as grinning.

Ebony smiled as the nightingale flew away. "They love any song, really."

''The Night is beautiful... But not as beautiful as your eyes.'' Said Splinter as looking at Ebony and smiling.
