I have never gotten good advice from my brothers or cousins.

Despite many comprehensive and elaborate offerings of advice (which have helped phenomenally), the little nugget of wisdom that jumps to mind right now came from my sister when we were having a day from hell, after which she simply told me, “Chill.” I don’t know why such a simple word made all the difference but she had a way of putting it, like it was finally okay and I could stop stressing over it.
