Hello fellow bronies!

Documented on Katie Cadet's Computer and Video Game Collection since the 2010s is Keshet Orion's Junior Science Series. Keshet Orion was an Israeli educational game developer founded in 1995 until it dissolved in 1998, with their website closing down in 2015 due to the lack of funds from the hosting provider.

The Junior Science Series was originally released in Israel and the United Kingdom as "Let there be Morning" and "Mid-Day", released in 1996, until the North American rights were acquired by MagiKids in 1997 as separate entries.

Here is a list of volumes in the series:

  1. Reflections
  2. Shadows
  3. Directions
  4. Distance
  5. Light
  6. Weather

All titles are compatible with 32-bit editions of Windows up to XP, but not 64-bit compatible. The last time I tried these was on a Windows 98 Second Edition machine. I tried running these on my Macintosh Performa 6400 running Mac OS 8.6 using SoftWindows 3.0, but found several graphical glitches and slowdowns during play.

I always found out that the highlight of this is that they hired uncredited amateur British voice actors, and starting with the "Mid-Day" title, it sounds like it was done on consumer PC headsets, rather than the semi-professional side of "Let There Be Morning". Also to note is that the "Let there be Evening" demo found on most releases is 32-bit, and is compatible with 64-bit versions of Windows up to Windows 10.

Feel free to discuss this obscure CD-ROM series! Nobody has ever talked about this in recent years! I'll also provide a video from SilentNoisePlays of one of the titles below!
