No more horsing around, they finally came out and said it with the new banner on the official Tell Your Tale channel.

Definitely going to miss the weekly releases, but at least they're coming right out and telling people that the shift is happening. Constantly being left in the dark is what I'm sick of more than anything.

It's good that they finally gave this information, still, it didn't stop me from thinking that we are definitely in the Dark Era of G5, this show is the only animated content from this generation that we have now and for me it still feels a lot like a smaller production / spin-off.

Fans might think that 2017-2019 were the "worst years" for G4, but damn, back then we had a TV series with 20 minute episodes, specials and shorts of Equestria Girls and a Movie (and there were also Christmas specials and Rainbow Roadtrip). Now in this generation we have gone from a period where we had a film, a 3D series with 20-minute episodes and 40-minute specials and 2D shorts, to just 2D shorts with a 20-minute special that makes almost no difference. You can think what you want about the G5, I myself like it and I try to be positive about it, but the way things are and if they continue like this, they will only convince me more that 2025 (and I mean, like, early 2025), will be the bye bye year for this generation.

Well better late than never I guess. Bi weekly releases just doesn’t do it for me. It’s basically the only G5 content we’re getting except for the game releasing later this month. We barely get any toy releases, no other forms of content. It really isn’t enough coming from what we had last year and with G4.

It sadly does further support the theory that G5 is indeed on it’s last legs :sunny:

"The theory"? There are more people who believe that G5 is approaching its end? :wau:

Apparently so. Even I believe it. There may even be no G6.

It was mostly a thing I thought about due to a couple of factors and personal theories, so I don't know if everyone believes that for the same reason.

The "No G6" or "No New Generation after G5" hypothesis is something else though, you're not the only one who said that, and I think it is the most worrying of them.
