How long can you edit posts for

After I posted a comment of mine in my first thread (the introduction thread), I wanted to see if I wanted to edit it. I didn’t feel like it at the moment, but then later on I wanted to change it. Now the edit button is gone. Does it go away after a while, and how much specific time before the edit button goes away?

I couldn’t as a Blank Flank, but that was because this topic was accidentally posted twice, because of me thinking I was editing this one

It seem you have figured it out, but let me give you an reply as well:

As a non Blank Flank you should be able to edit your posts without any time limit.

As a Blank Flank this is different. Many permissions are locked for Blank Flanks. 

If you check again, you should be able to edit all of your posts (since you are not a Blank Flank anymore)
