Taco pre-Tuesday question

On a scale of 1-10, how would you rate your local/closest taco place? The nearest taco place for me is like, a 6 outta 10, it's alright. Some of y'all gotta have some really good taco places, right? Hopefully you're fortunate enough to live near one.

Where I live, we have a lot of taco places. Like A LOT. The closest taco place is about a block away - it's a 6/10. They changed the way they prepared the meat, so I hardly go there at all.

Another place nearby is family owned and it's a 9/10 for me. They have great tacos and burritos.

Family owned taco places are almost always really good fr, gotta love 'em.

There aren't many Mexican restaurants where I live, but the last one I visited was perfect. And the staff was excellent. I will definitely visit this restaurant next time if I'm ever somewhere close by :fluttershy:

The closest to me is good ol’ Taco Bell. It may not be the most authentic but I tend to like my food highly processed and artificial. That’s not to say that Taco Bell is bad; merely commercial and controlled. And to be honest I love Taco Bell food (8.5/10) and I could eat it almost every day. The more authentic, non-chain restaurants are usually pretty expensive so I don’t frequent them as often as I’d like. I’ve eaten at many, but not the closest ones to home, so I can’t really testify as to the local offerings. There are places where I work, namely Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante in Disneyland, which I like very much (8/10) even though their menu isn’t quite what it used to be when it was previously under different sponsorship as Casa Mexicana (9/10), which closed in 2001.

The non-chains are expensive around you? That sucks, that really does, around my area they're pretty cheap. I hope you find a great, cheap taco place at some point.

I just make my own tacos. I don't waste space with lettuce, just pack in more meat. :ph3ar:

Fellow taco maker I see. Awesome.

Some are expensive, but I could probably find an economical alternative if I wanted to to do the legwork.

There's a guy who goes door to door and often pounds on my apartment windows selling homemade tamales; maybe I should see if they're any good sometime.

I think you should make a burger place version of this thread. :D

The closest taco place to me is Guzman y Gomez and they’re good although I would rather go down the highway to Mad Mex at the mall as it is absolutely amazing.
