So, how we feeling about scorpions? Yeah, those cute pincer having uh... arachnids?(used to say insects) Do they be the third most cutest thing you've seen, or are they most definitely hated by you?

Third cutest? No, but I get the appeal. I like crabs, so if we didnt have the stinger to contend with, I'd probably let one crawl on me.

Obviously you can only receive venom from their tail stinger, and potentially be knicked by the pincers, but can they bite? Not much of a defense mechanism, but I looked up a feeding video and saw those two little mouth arms at work. I know superworms can get you, and wasps have a good set of chompers even if you can avoid their stinger.

I changed my mind. I don't like superworms, never have. Remind of of centipedes which I can't stand. Every now and then they'll get added at random to a nightmare just to make it worse.

But I saw a video of a scorpian that moved in just the right way to disturb me. The abdomens are Incredibly flexible it would seem, not crab like at all. It could squirm. Combined with clanking it's legs on glass got to me. They're on my nope list.

I'm neutral on them. I've never really seen a scorpion in the wild since we don't have them naturally around here. I have seen a few in a Zoo but they were most buried or hidden so couldn't really see them that well.

One of the finest bands to come out of Germany. My dad got to see them on the love at first sting tour and might be in the crowd for the World Wide Live album.

One state I lived in had them very small and easily hiding.

They are super cool. I love them almost as much as I love tarantulas.

Yeah, they have a certain style about them. But so do a lot of things that unsettle me. I’m afraid I’m gonna have to give ya a hard pass on these guys. I’ve dealt with them before on a personal basis and I’m not a fan.
