Mark Hamill is voicing The Flying Dutchman in the new SpongeBob movie

In 2025, there will be a new SpongeBob movie called The SpongeBob Movie: The Search For SquarePants and Mark Hamill is going to voice The Flying Dutchman. At first I was a bit on the fence about it, but then I remembered that Mark Hamill voiced another pirate character, Captain Stickybeard from Codename: Kids Next Door, so I think he can pull it off.

Mark is such a talented voice actor, I have no doubt as to his capabilities. He has so many diverse voices I’d love to see what he comes up with.
