Alright, so uh, how are the holidays treating you guys and gals and whatnot? Are you sittin" back and watching Elf for the 13th time this week with that same Christmas mug of hot cocoa with the heater pointed at you, or are you going on a mass shopping spree spending the majority of your pay on gifts, decorations, and Little Caesars $20 gift cards while on the same weekend having to waste your blood, sweat, and tears into putting a buncha decorations up for a few passerby's and your personal enjoyment so you can finally sleep?

Well:

• I got ALL my xmas shopping done weeks ago! 
• Decor was done two weeks ago and the tree!
• Xmas dinner is planned and in the freezer mostly!
• Overall minus a short work day on xmas eve,  its pretty much easy street for me this year

I have to pick up 2 custom gift cards from my parents for my girlfriend's parents.

Make a custom holiday card and insert a printed gift card for an events app for my dad and his wife.

Pick out and mail another gift card to my aunt.

Purchase gifts and plan something for our 6 year anniversary which is right after the holidays.

Order a custom puzzle for my grandma.

Finish a tin of Danish cookies and replace them with something silly.

Potentially fill 23 jars with things that look like dirt at a glance, and maybe go so far as to buy some large cans of soup, eat them, but seal them up up with smaller cans of the same soup inside except for one All so I can hide the actual jar of dirt?

My brother asked what ainwoupd get him for his birthday one year, and I said a jar. He asked for me to at least put something in it, and I told him dirt. We had recently watched Pirates of the Caribbean and enjoyed the jar of dirt meme.

His birthday comes around, and I give him his gift. It's his favorite because it's the only thing he technically asked for.

As a joke, he gave it back to me for Chistmas, and it's become a tradition where we try to hide it in each other's.

As tradition, go to a Christmas truck parade and solstice river walk, though these have been on separate days until this year which will make coordination a little difficult. This means the restaurant we eat at where I treat everyone will be exceptionally busy, even more so because they downsized a few months ago! That meal will also be difficult on a tighter budget from being out sick.

Need to order toys for my best friend's dogs too.

We also have two Christmas light shows we like to go to that we have to squeeze in somewhere.

Wrap everyone's gifts, and then I'll be good.

Also some social media posts, including catching up on topics here!

Very busy,,, but filled with joy for the most part.

We decorated for Christmas on Black Friday (family  tradition) but I wasn't really in the Christmas spirits yet and then I did all my Christmas shopping and still wasn't feeling that magic of Christmas for some reason... THEN yesterday after buying my sister her 80th gift and today watching Home Alone and Home alone 2 I feel a little more in the Christmas spirits now... LOL weird cause i been listening to Christmas music since black Friday too and it just feels like another day

All my gifts have been bought and are either here or will be delivered this week. I’ll wrap everything once it’s all been delivered and then I’m pretty much done, decorating is already done, just gotta wait for Christmas.

I have been watching some of the MLP Christmas episodes and specials every night or so as well.

Not really celebrating this year as I have no one to celebrate with.  Planning on doing a special dinner or two, but beyond that, I'll just treat it as another day.
