I'M BACK!! (I forgor 'bout this place :/)

Alright, collection. Collecting things is fun, wether that be collecting little toys, bottlecaps as any 'sane' Fallout fan would, collecting Nerf guns like a eight year old who was just exposed to the smell of the freshly molded plastic of a new Nerf gun and how to use one, (I collect Nerf guns, got 76.) maybe you collect weird little knick knacks, something to put on the desk as a decoration that serves no general purpose other than to look cool and be funny depending on the object. If you don't collect that stuff, or maybe you do but another thing you like to collect that's not in the specified regions, watchu be collectin'?

I collect Star Wars stuff. I’ve been collecting since I was very little and I have a large collection. I have 1,014 carded action figures from the original Kenner line (1978-1985) up to POTF2 and other peripheral Hasbro collections, with another 400+ loose (vintage) ones. I have hundreds of posters, banners and wall art still mint in their shipping tubes and countless toys both MIB and MOB. I have clothing items (which I don’t count as part of the collection because I actually wear them in most cases rather than keep them mint). I have thousands of books and countless household items of every description. The one downside is that there’s so much stuff that I can’t even access large portions of the collection. My bookshelves for example are buried behind mountains of toys, and the size of my living space makes it difficult to move things around. It’s heartbreaking because the books are among my favorite parts of the collection.

In recent years I’ve slowed my collecting dramatically for lack of room and money, which is fine because I have plenty to keep me happy and I don’t need to add more.

I’ve included a few pics here for general representation, to show you what we’re up against.

Pardon the dust. It takes a solid week to dust these shelves and that kind of time is simply not available.

I've collected mamy things over the years but usually not in massive quantity other than the bottle caps. ;)

I still have my Nerf Guns, and I always peruse the toy section at Goodwill and Value Village for them, but I only purchase them now if I consider them to be a must have and are in really good condition, which mostly means N-Strike, Elite, and I think some of the Zombie stuff? Mostly the practical ones with under or singlehand cycling. What weirds me out is seeing quite a bit of the rival series. I don't buy them, but good opportunity for resale. I have maybe 20 total? But they're buried away in the closet.

What I really like to collect is small dinosaur toys, no particular brand, and I don't seek them out, but there is a style I really like.

Played with them a lot as a kid, keep them all separate to not get mixed up with the originals. Have some repeats but there's an impressive amount of variety in my opinion.

@Dreambiscuit Wow :pinkie:

I have a regrettable collection of music CDs.  Plastic discs in jewel cases from so many different artists and bands that it's hard to stare at each album title and list alphabetically:scoots:  Dust is impossible to remove now and preserve visual state.

You always know the Star Wars way @Dreambiscuit:D
