So all this time, it actually was cancelled as opposed to not being renewed...

While the "We were robbed!" comments and "Damn you, Hasbro!" comments are getting redundant...I will never be able to forgive Hasbro for this.

I believe they worked in the script in early 2023 at least then, before the writers strike. Which makes sense as they were working in episodes of Season 2 of Tell your Tale while Make Your Mark's 2 final chapters were still being prepared for release. It would be in line with the 2D show starting first and finishing production before the 3D show, that's how it was with TyT Season 1's production being finished months before MyM season 1's production but only releasing after MyM's release ended. It's crazy how she says "whole second season" though, that makes me imagine that before it, they already had the entire second Season of TyT wtitten then. Though, I wonder, if the Season 2 of MyM happened, would TyT Season 2 still be telling the main stories? Because Season 1 didn't do that. Unless, parts of this MyM season 2 script were adapted into TyT episodes, that could explain why Season 2 has 20 minutes specials.

It is what it is. These things happen that are beyond most people's control. Can you blame Hasbro? Of course, but they had a reason for doing it.

Can't say I'm surprised. MYM really missed its mark, no pun intended. The show fell flat to begin with.
