Imagine this happening in a Daring Do story.

An Artifact that Daring and a companion find being some kind of legendary weapon. Artifact or not, a weapon is still a weapon and in the scenario where this companion has to rescue Daring from the clutches of a Villain and Caballeron, they use said artifact in the rescue effort. God of War level violence ensuing as the companion slices through waves of this Villain's henchponies like grass.

An "i am a villain not a monster" moment happening when this companion gets caught in a murderous rage caused by the artifact and turns to Dr. Caballeron. Preventing him from fleeing and then Proceeding to viciously beat Caballeron to death, of which Daring has to take great effort in stopping this companion from striking the deathblow. Caballeron and Daring might be rivals, but he doesn't deserve or die or suffer like that. Daring allowing Caballeron's henchponies to get away as they carry their near-critically wounded boss to seek medical aid.

Would Rainbow Dash have approved Caballeron suffering or dying in such a violent fashion?

and imagine something similar happening in movie form in EqG. A scene in a Daring do movie playing like this, but with Stalwart Stallion as the unfortunate victim of this companion's blind artifact-driven rage.

Would either of the two Dash's have approved of these villains experiencing such needless suffering and having lives being (nearly) ended in such a gratuitously violent fashion?
