I'm working on a personal project and I have a question: Would a unicorn and alicorn be able to have a pegasus child with alicorn speeds and a unicorn with alicorn high-level magic?

I would say high level magic would be inherited due to their power levels. Definitely not as high as the alicorn. Alicorn speeds probably wouldn't be achieved because it would be more from the Pegasus side!

I think it mostly depends on the potential of the individual and how they were raised. It sounds like they can be a jack of all trades! The pegasus child raised by a unicorn parent sounds more likely to be skillful and puzzle-solving? And a unicorn with a pegasus parent learns to be initiative and ready to get their hooves dirty to reach their goal?

Perhaps I’m being a bit stereotypical, I’m merely going off Pre-Equestrian history here.
