Separating Character Asks threads from Member Asks threads in the Ask a Pony section

(Credit for this idea goes to @Acinonyx  as they voiced it out loud to me a few weeks ago but haven't made a thread about this yet and I'm not so sure they will)

The Ask a Pony section seems a bit... hmm, chaotic, when it comes to separating from member threads and character threads. Putting them all together makes for a confusing experience when you're interested in finding topics of other members so you can ask questions, and it's a bit strange to include member ask threads in the Roleplay World section because unless I'm interpreting it wrong, the member asks are for the real life people and not necessarily pony OCs/self inserts? Perhaps they should be organised into different subsections, or member asks moved elsewhere entirely into the Beyond Equestria section. I think the latter idea would be great for an easy way to get to know other members better in a section you may expect to see such threads.

@Raskolnikov Yeah, one is roleplay, the other one not necessarily, I think separating these would indeed work better. It perhaps would also encourage users to create more topics about themselves. I asked other staffers for opinion and they agreed we could do this.

I suggested something like this:

Would you, and anyone interested, find that approach okay?

Something like that is about what I had in mind when I originally mentioned the idea to @Raskolnikov, so looks good to me!

Seems fair, my only thoughts are how visible it will be if placed there, or if it'll get lost if it's in the RP section as it's an unexpected spot for it and non-RPers may not think to look there for asking members stuff how do other people feel about it? Maybe it could be a subsection in the Forum Lounge? There it will also maintain the lack of post count increases as well just like the Ask a Pony section too.

Oh yeah also a good point, putting it somewhere in Beyond Equestria would definitley give it more visibility. I know when I first looked for user asks I had some trouble finding them in the Roleplay area.

That is something I've been wondering on too, been thinking of potential different places to put it in. That's why I asked for more opinions before going ahead and adding it.

I have created the "Ask a User" forum and placed it under Forum Lounge. I'm currently going through topics in Ask a Pony to move the ones, that are about users themselves. So far there doesn't seem to be many such topics, so I encourage all of you to populate it.

Also, if someone has a topic to move, please poke me. If you'd like to help finding topics to move, that would be awesome too.
