How you became a fan of My Little Pony

It`s a bit... complicated. When I was a teen/preteen I was extremely isolated and had a hell of a lot of mental health issues. At that time MLP provided some welcome escapism and a sense of community that I am forever grateful for. Even though I was always too shy to interact with anyone it still felt like I was less alone with my problems. Anyway enough traumadumping. The show opened up to me once more as I was and still am learning french. Listening is still a weak spot of mine and MLP has helped a lot to sthrenghten that skill since it uses relatively simple vocabulary and the characters speak slowly (being a kids show and all that). The reason I really wanted to dive in the community is that I still struggle a lot socially - but I think that`s most of us here- and because I want to live out the dreams of my former teenage self by actually participating. To close off that chapter of my life, if that makes sense.

So yeah. My ponysona is still in the works but will be updated soon. I`m trying to really go all out with the design as I don`t think I will really improve otherwise (and because I`m a stupid perfectionist). But I`m really proud of my work thus far and am excited to show it off to all of you.
