Lockhart maintained his grin as fell to the ground. "I sure can take a beating can't I?" He said. "Come on!"

midnight recoiled but grinned, his lip bleeding "please sir can i have another?"

"honestly, this isnt worth my time." he elbowed night hawk in the face.

"Yes, but you can't die yet" he said as he looked at Lockhart.

Fear arrived on scene, and watched the battle, who ever lost would make a good victim

"Alright then, until next we battle!" Lockhart said offering his hand to shake.

Noxus eyes Lock oddly. "Yes, until next time" he said with his usual raspy voice as he shook his hand.

Lockhart walked back to his home. Lockhart laughed as he slowly walked back.

"Good luck" he said as he looked to Night and Midnight and then started to walk away.

 

Noxus started off into the city. He walked in the more underground and urban parts of the city.

Rain sat up with a gasp, her brain spinning with colours and shapes.

Someone said something urgently but she couldn't understand. She faintly heard someone screaming before she realized it was her.

'I NEED HELP HERE!' she suddenly heard someone saying near her, and she struggled as she began to get pinned down.

^What's going on?^ said a male voice, and suddenly the room went dark.

'We need the power on, NOW! She's going to-SHIT!' the woman cursed loudly as there was a noise outside.

Rain knew she was still screaming and couldn't stop, as much as she wanted to. Someone covered her nose with something and she drifted back to sleep slowly.

Noxus continued to walk until he noticed a door with a few of his guards behind it. He nodded to them as he entered the building and headed downstairs, scanning the building as he did so. It was rundown and broken at most places.

Sebastian sat in the darkness, his breath held.

^What are we going to do with her?^ he asked the nurse quietly. ^She's getting worse.^

She nurse bit her lip. 'I honestly don't know...her burns are getting worse every passing minute...without proper help she's not going to make it.'

Sebastian sighed deeply. ^Well, is there any news of Rachel? Or Ella?^

She shook her head. 'We'll have to find out from Rain when she wakes up.'

They fell back into silence, just staring at the twitching form on the bed.

Noxus opened one last door and entered a room with computers and equipment. He walked over to one of the guards who happened to be the pilot of the plane. "I heard a explosion. What did you hit?" he asked gruffly.

[Mephala 2,633]

Rain was slowly blinking her eyes open and the nurse jumped up.

'It WORKED,' she said in awe, looking at him. 'You know how rare that is?'

Sebastian stared down at her. ^Well, Rain's a very SPECIAL girl,' he chuckled.

The nurse looked at him curiously but bustled over.

'How're you feeling?' she asked, feeling cheerful now. Rain looked at her, and then realized she could see through both eyes. The nurse looked at her with a bittersweet smile.

'We couldn't repair everything, and you have a lot of scarring...but we did the best we could.'

 

(Think of her like Shepard in ME2-she has scars like that, but not glowy.)

"We hit a house, the skyscraper was just too far" the guard said as he typed on a computer and 4 images flashed up. One each of Rain, Seb, their little girl, and then Rachel's. Rachel's had a big red X through it.

 

Noxus stared at the computer screen blankly for a few moments, his face twitching. "You..... Idiot." Noxus said "What have you DONE?!" he said yelling. He picked up the guard and threw him at a wall. "Where are the alive ones?!" he yelled "T-the hospital" the guard replied. Noxus nodded and looked to a few guards and signaled them to get Ready. He walked up to the pilot and shot him 3 times in the chest before walking out.

 

Later on he had arrived at the parking lot of the hospital.

Rain looked at herself in the mirror, breathing heavily. She felt her heart rate picking up. Her scars weren't that bad, and she looked a mess, but the nurse had sworn she'd be back to normal in no time before she went upstairs, leaving Rain and Sebastian.

Sebastian stared at her in silence. ^What happ-^ he began, but Rain slammed her fist against the wall.

"Rachel died and Ella's gone," she said bitterly. "And it's all my fault."

Sebastian's face hardened as he tried not to cry.

Noxus walked into the hospital, shooting the first few guards on sight. Loud gunshot rang out as the guards and Noxus fired. He walked up to the lady at the first desk "Could you kindly tell me where i can find this girl?" he asked showing a picture of Rain.

[Mephala 2,633]

The lady stared at him, swallowing then paling at the sight. "I...I...no," she whispered.

Suddenly the nurse burst in and blocked the lady at the front desk. 'Leave us alone!' she shouted.

 

Meanwhile, in the basement, Sebastian's head shot up. ^Did you hear that?^ he asked, and Rain nodded painfully from the bed. Standing up slowly, Sebastian walked over to her.

^I don't know what they're looking for, but if they find you you're dead for sure,^ he whispered, ^so listen carefully. I'm going to use Otherworld travel to get outside and alert the authorities. If everything goes well, I'll be back within thirty minutes.^ Before Rain could protest, he put a hand over her mouth. ^I know what you're going to say, and no, you can't come with me. You know that means you'll die, whether it be getting shot or you being caught in the Otherworld.^

He hefted Rain out of the bed and she cried in pain. Sebastian winced at the noise, then shushed her. ^You can't move on your own, so stay put. If you get up you're not getting far with those bandages.^

Eventually Rain was concealed by furniture in the corner and she looked at him pleadingly. "Sebastian...please...I killed your wife and probably your daughter...how do you not hate me?"

Sebastian shook his head and knelt by her. ^Rain, I loved you. I know that's not the kind of thing you would do if you had the choice. And I'm not going to throw your life away-it's not what Rachel would have wanted.^ He brushed her hair away and smiled sadly. ^After all, I owe you for bringing her to me.^

Standing up, he turned and locked the door. ^I'm going to go now. Don't move or you'll be in the open again, and don't make a sound. I'll see you later.^ He slowly disappeared, leaving Rain alone.

 

Rain immediately tried to roll out from behind the cover and found herself blocked. "Oh, he thinks of everything," she grumbled.

"Now why would i do that?" he asked the nurse as he pointing the pistol at her. "Just tell me where she is at"

"I don't know!' said the nurse fiercely. 'Now leave, or I'll call more security!'

Suddenly the woman from the desk cried, "I saw them take her to the basement! They-"

'EDNA!' screeched the nurse, and she tried to grab the pistol from him. 'She's out of her mind, there's nothing down there!'

"Your out of your mind" he said as he shot the nurse once in the stomach, it was not enough to kill her. He crouched down "Do you really think you 'security' can stop me?" he asked. he looked to him guards "Check in the basement, ill meet you two there"

The nurse gasped in pain. 'You're not getting to her,' she laughed harshly, coughing up blood as she slumped against the desk. 'There's another man down there-one who could stand up to a coward like you.' She coughed again. 'What do you want with the girl, anyways?'
