"Sure!" she says exitedly "first one to the Cloudsdayle Gates wins!" she dashed forward getting a head start. (I think its worth mentioning here that her wingpower is 11)

(Mine is 10 but can be 11 in certain cases) Vortex Wing catched up. Flying neck to neck with her, I fall back down because I forgot my wings couldnt handle going over 11 wing power. (I accidently did 12 wing power)

"Come on slow poke!" she calls back laughing

*Wing gets a cramp and I fall down but quickly get up before reaching the ground, catching up with her and gets a smidge ahead* "Im back!!!!!! XD"

The morning sun cut through the hotel's thin curtains, and landed on Paperback's eyes...

"Hmm...Just five more minutes..." Paperback muttered.

Her phone shrieked with noise and Paperback sat up, her horn glowing brightly, and picked it up from the hook. Just her wake-up call. She clambered out of bed and started out the door. She had to get to school on time for orientation.

Krystal tightens her body up: making herself more aerodynamic, and she flaps her wings faster: propeling herself past Vortex by at least one body length.

 

(And frenzyhero, its morning so just post that your character is waking up in her hotel)

Vortex wing was still racing, and noticed a new Pony in town. "Maybe we should talk to that new pony after the show." Vortex hurried up and got neck to neck with Krystal again.

"Sure" she replied "but only after I beat you!" she said as she sped forward and crashed through the golden gates of Cloudsdayle.

Vortex flew right after she got there and I crashed into the rainbow fountain. "This rainbow is spicy and it needs salt." Vortex said after he spit out the rainbow.

((Sorry I'm late to the RP!))

 

Lace Wing glides to a stop as she reaches Trottingham. A quaint place with nice architecture. Certainly it was nothing like her home of Canterlot, but it was a wonderful place for a pony to be.

 

"Now then," she says to herself as she digs a checklist of sorts from her saddlebag, "Where to begin?" Lace Wing was on her monthly scouting visits. It was important to her work to observe pony fashion and note which, if any, older fashions were coming back into style.

"Well your not supposed to drink it" she said with a laugh "Come on, the back entrance to the Colosseum is this way"

"Ok" Vortex said following her to see the Wonderbolts.

They approached the back entrance and she trotted up to a stallion who must be her uncle. After a few minutes of talking she waved back to Vortex to follow her as she walked towards the door to the stands.

Vortex follows Krystal as we went to the stand. Vortex Wing also grabbed 2 hotdogs. "1 hotdog for me and 1 for you." Vortex Watched the opening as they flew across the sky.

Paperback heard a loud splash oft to her left, and noticed a pony splashing straight through the square fountain (why would they have a rainbow fountain, just asking) and another following close. She watched them finish and walk into the stadium.

 

"Well, maybe I have some time to kill," Paperback reasoned to herself as she started for the stadium after the two strange pegasi.

 

She trudged up the stairs, breathing hard, wishing she was a pegasus. She finally made it to her seat...20XX?!?! Talk about nosebleeds. This was the kind of altitude you'd find insane robot ponies.

 

She scanned the stands below, but no sign of the mysterious duo from the race through town earlier this morn.

 

Then it struck her. Like a hotdog. She looked up, and...there they were.

 

"HEY!" She shouted. "EXCUSE YOU!"

"Lets go meet that pony down there now."

 

Vortex walks down the staduim to meet this mysterious pony.

"Okay" she was about to start her flight to Trottingham when a unicorn pony approched them.

"Hey! You! You're the one that dropped a hotdog on my head during the show," she yelled at the black stallion.

Memories of my castle I used to rule came across my head, I remember the day the criminal released the prisoners, they blew up the entire village. I look down as the sorrow took over my body. "Huh..OH. Sorry. I thought I ate it all. Oops..." The memories struck down on me again.

"Oh- yeah sorry. I just...remembered something..." The sadness took over as I walked out of the staduim. I flew down to my hotel room.

((That awkward moment when the Trottingham RP is happening in Cloudsdale...?))

"High-wasited saddles? Oh, always a favorite," Lace mutters to herself as she eyes the ponies of Trottingham, making notes on her paper. It seems as if the fashion scene of Canterlot hadn't quite left this town in the dust. But she was biased towards classic fashion as it was. "Oh, dear, bell bottoms? No, those can stay in the eighties..."

Well...most classic fashions.

"Well... um... that was random" *turns to Paperback* "So how did you get up here? Were in Cloudsdayle?"
