You seem to forget that all pegasi not loyal to unicornia (and a simple truth spell would be sufficient to make sure nopony is trying to decieve us) are locked away in various dungeons. Any who try to rebel or break out would have their wings clipped to prevent any sustained flight.

 

If some pegasi did break out and attempt to rally the griffons against unicornia, it would be a simple matter to defeat them with magic and send them back to the great white north (u c wut I did thar).
