Plague and Corrosion wandered aroubd the area of the mountain where the ominous presence was at before...

Clocks hid in the forest, waiting for the right time to go back.

 

There was green smoke coming out from a hole in mountain. It with in range of Plague.

The healthy Pegasus tapped the normal unicorn on the shoulder. "Hey," he whispered, "Do you think any of us are gonna die in the ordeal?"

The unicorn glanced at Trench, "Does dying of old age count?" he joked.

"I'm talking serious, I am!"

"We're badasses, all five of us," said the unicorn, "Badasses don't die."

 

Trench looked down his patrol line. "So, do you have names?" he asked, "Might help to know them."

"Call me jack," Said the first unicorn.

"Reynolds, sir!" Replied the first pegasus.

"Harold," answered the injured pegasus.

"And I am... um..." The tipsy unicorn rubbed his chin. "Rocky... Rocky Twig...bird."

"You made that up didn't you?"

"Did not!" Insisted "Rocky"

Dissonance nodded. "That must get busy, though...so you don't want to settle down?"

Linus laughed to himself and rolled his eyes. ''Whee.'' Said Linus as flipping his Cider bottle around.

"Noooo!" laughed Dissonance, trying to shove him off. "Don't call me that!"

Thunder laughed right along with her. "I might need a little something from you to stop," he said coyly.

"C'mon," Jack pleaded to 'Rocky', "Wha's your proper name?"

"Can't tell you. The walls have ears!"

"... Right," Jack sad confused, "Wall ears..."

Dissonance narrowed her eyes at him playfully. "Oh, really?" she said coyly, then leaned up and kissed him hard. She winked at him as she pulled away. "Hope that's what you had in mind."

"Comes with the singing career. You're not half bad yourself," said Dissonance, standing up slowly.

While trench was patrolling, it was clear there was a carnival that was going on just outside of Ponyville.

Plague flicked out his forked tongue as the smoke drifted around the area.

"Ok, what is this?"

Smoke continued to trail out from the hole in the mountain. It was obvious that was the source

"Randomly appearing carnivals..." Trench said confused, "That's... new."

"See!" exclaimed Rocky, "The walls are attacking us now! But they cannot hurt me, because they don't know my name."

Harold facehoofed. "That doesn't make sense!" He cried.

"It doesn't have to make sense, Harry, we are in a free country."

"Is anypony else hearing this bullshit?"

Trench slowly walked to the Carnival. "Wait here, all of you... I'm going in... alone," He said as he wondered to the front gates.

"Oh okay then!" Rocky responded happily, "We will stay here and guard your feather!"

"Are you sure about this, cap?" Asked Jack concerned.

"It's just a carnival," Trench remarked as he passed the front gates.

Corrosion went in ahead of Plague to check out the mountain. Plague followed him and then the two began to explore the inside.

As soon as Trench entered, the gates close. And music began to play.

In the inside of the mountain, it was almost like a cavern. But everything glowed a faint green color.

Trench laughed, "I heard scarier things while I was sober. Who's playin' that racket, eh?"

"I am" said a figure walking out from a tent. It looked like a older version of Carth. "Long time no see."

"Carth? God, I thought you were still crying in a hole somewhere! You do remember what I said I'd do if I saw you again, right?"

Corrosion entered into a seperate tunnel to continue to search the area, leaving Plague on his own.

"Yeah, sure, leave us all alone..."

"#Uh... why the heck are the rocks glowing?"

Plague examined one of the glowing stones.

"How should I know? This is Equestria or whatever, everything is sparkly."

[Chickey 383]

"I think it was something about beating me senseless?" He said.

 

At the very back of the cave, there was something working, looking at a pile of the glowing crystals

"You aren't Carth..." Trench said, "He's a coward! Carth wouldn't ... you can't be him!"
