CMC Mini-Series?

CMC-centric episodes are a mixed bag: you have your gems ("Ponyville Confidential") and your clunkers ("Hearts and Hooves Day").

Hearts and Hooves Day was the biggest clunker of them all. Definitely forgettable and while it did have its own charm and banter, it didn't exactly live up to its standards as a V-Day episode. That being said, it wasn't terribly bad, but it wasn't very enjoyable either. Dull in some parts, and I seemed to lose track of what was going on with Big Mac and Cheerilee as it just started to become sort of a bad joke.

Ponyville Confidential, on the other hand? Excellent plot and dialogue, and with references that could knock you out of your seat. Very funny lines here and there to serve as a bit of relief, and blended in perfectly with a more serious atmosphere compared to most of the episodes found on season 2 (save for Putting Your Hoof Down and It's About Time, if you count Tarturus and a raging Cerberus as part of a serious atmosphere).

No matter how much I adore the CMC, a full mini-series seems a bit much. A few 5 minute web shorts of their adventures, or some personal problems would seem the best way to go. But none of this better happen until Scootaloo gets her episodes.

A mini-series would be a really good idea, but if it was CMC-focused, they'd need to keep it short and digestible.

Maybe a series of five or so 11-minute episodes airing over the summer?

Now I'd buy THAT for a dollar!

I would rather have them be in more episodes in the main series, that way we get both CMC and Mane 6, all in one series.

Sure, they deserve to be in their usual 2 or 3 per season but I don't think they should be taking up any more of the Mane 6 time.

Ya, I'm not seeing a CMC focused series being very popular.

^A Daring Do tv special would be fun to watch.

I'mma be honest, I don't like the CMC, I find the episodes about them a little bit annoying and boring to be honest, I'd rather get a Daring Do mini series

Oh my!!! That would make me go...

I'm personally fond of the idea that they eventually take over as the focus of the show when they grow to the age of the mane 6 FAR down the road (Still want many seasons of the main 6). Just seems like a perfect transition into a new generation to see them actually grow and not have them stuck in kiddie purgatory. Well assuming of course that they find 3 others to fill the gaps.
