For a FPS Pony game to come out, it'd have to be ENTIRELY different than most shooters to be successful, and also to fit the show's demographic (Everypony). I think that Ponies shooting Ponies is horrible in my opinion, and zombies wouldn't make it any better. There'd have to be enemies that Don't come off violent, characters that aren't idolized from the show like Parasprites, that Chickatrox thing? Etc.

 

In my honest opinion, a pony game would be at it's best if it was like the gold old fasioned adenture games like the glory days You possibly play as the Mane 6, or create your own OC and play the game throughout. Ugh... it's hard to think of a game appealing to todays modern-video gamers, but at the same time really non-violent and "original". I'm shure somebody will take the time to think of something amazing for a Pony game Like Fable! but more interactive, way less violent and scarey, more quests, more Ponies. etc.

Am i the only on who thinks that a My Little Pony gunner down game would be fun? Like Zombie mode and multiplayer mode, where you could shoot all the zombies you wanted or other ponies. It would be for like X-box or PS3. I think it would be sweet and I would love it. Create a character and go shoot some zombie ponies!

 

I'd like to think that you're alone; a Call of Duty style FPS with ponies would be really dumb. On the other hand, I wouldn't mind seeing Fallout Equestria made into a game; the Fallout 3 mods just aren't going to cut it.

Bro, I agree with you up until the fallout 3 mod thing. While you may not think that there is a good mod out yet, you could make one. Hell I would help you! I used the G.E.C.K. a few times, just wasn't able to test anything due to my p.c. Edited September 19, 2012 by aperture_tech

Yes, it could be done. But it needs to be executed well in order to appeal to the brony community.

It would have to be executed almost PERFECTLY. I honestly don't think you can do it that well in first-person, as that would defeat character customization. Thus, third-person or a switchable viewpoint would be a must. Also, I think that most of us would want a story intensive, albeit canon accurate game. Even then, I wouldn't know about a shooting game.
