Somebody help me publish a comic! (Online)

I'm currently working on something else, this:

 

 

 

 

That is only a sketch of the first page of the comic I'm planning to do.

I need somebody in charge to color it and somebody who's willing to edit the lines.

Also I need somebody I could talk to about the story so that I may improve it.

 

I'll be calling my drawing teacher for some tips.

I need editors (If possible 2 english native speakers. A boy and a girl.)

I need someone who's really good at shading (it's going to be in black and white)

I need People who's really good at writing stories to help me with the story and hardcore fans who can help me stay in character.

I could try helping with the digitization and finalizing of the drawings... As in colouring (shading and lines in this case).

Unfortunately, I'm leaving for a one-week-vacation tomorrow... I'm sure you'll find someone though!

That's actually pretty good. I'm working right now with Kotakotakota and Master Cadence on the story.

After that I'll start drawing and after some quality control I'll have the things ready do color (shade in this case).

So you've lots and lots of time before you've any work.

Hm.. With some time, I think I can manage something like that... So yeah, I'll give it a hoof~

Here's a couple of examples of what I've made so far... Some people apparently really like the shading/shine of 'em...

(Oh, and ignore the title of that thread... It's apparently not accurate.)

Dude, I was gone for a few days. I hope this thread isn't dead yet.I've been trying out that shading style and I've found out that I need somebody else who is in charge of coloring the backgrounds.These are the changes I've done in the first page of the comic.

Also I haven't done anything in that regard because I've been working on the plot for the comic. (Believe me, it's awesome so far.)

These are some sketches for a "OC" (It really isn't a OC since I took the idea from another member of this forum. But I loved his character so much I couldn't help myself.

It's always nice to see comics popping up to see different ways the community might have done things. I was at least hoping it was gonna be done in your art style though. While it can be choppy at times, it's definitely unique.

 

If I were you, I would just find someone to clean up the area's in whatever format you need it in, whether it be Vector, Raster or any other style, and do the color gradients and/or black and white filters yourself.

Yes, just like those right there. I think finding someone to help form the outlining to the characters and the frames (maybe a black drop to them) and doing the gradients yourself would be best.

Personally no I don't, sorry. But I can see how you arranged the jobs for this a bit confusing. I'd actually recommend

 

A person to draw and apply the art to the project. You can still do that, I don't see many problems in your work that only time can help correct, but having someone else do it is just fine as well, just make sure THEY have the time to actually help in the project.

 

A person to arrange. Pretty much, after art is applied, get someone to arrange it in a nice manner and to apply a well organized critique on any of the art. Placements of the work with sharper borders, and of course the speech bubbles and narrative blocks to the screen. From my work, try and find someone like a vector artist like me. I'd keep your art as is, but having a vectorist around can make it feel balanced if done right.

 

A person to type. As in, someone that can give out a great world of detail to the story. It's good to have a place to start when it comes to conversations and the narrative, but to have someone that can display the actual characterizations of the figures in the comics with speech and narrative is a great help. From the sounds of it you want someone to help in the story lines plots. There are plenty of people more than likely to help; just make sure they don't take over the story from you.

 

Not sure if you are still planning on coloring, but I'd recommend going to ZirBronium. While his art is completely different to this and it takes a long time, he does some really good coloring and could possibly help you there if anything.

I already have kotakotakota helping me with the story and maybe the art later.

After we're done with the basic structure of the story, we'll work on the lines of each character.

Glad you're finding people to help out. I wouldn't mind reading it afterwards, wherever you post it anyways. You gonna do one of those blogs like everyone else, just without the asking bit?
