music Beginning of the year songs

So, perhaps you've had the experience to set forth a new resolve and to effectively start anew, after some growing up. And perhaps, just perhaps, you manage to stumble upon a song which fits that resolve perfectly. This can be the beginning of the year (a New Year's resolution), or the beginning of a school year. For me, it's usually a school year, and 10th grade (just finished it) proved to be a rather wild ride.

 

Here was my song the beginning of the year, which was September. I learned a lot of things over that summer, growing and finally gaining the confidence I needed to do well not only in school (academically or otherwise), but also strived to take care and nurture my relations with my friends and family.

Coming to accept myself for who I am was the biggest step for me, when growing up.
