"Finally, I've been looking for one a long time."

 

She continued to examine it.

 

"Hey everypony, I found a Flare Gun but there's only one shot so we'd better use it carefully."

Sparrow looked around. There were a few different kinds of gun. Finally his eyes fell upon a .40 cal pistol. It looked like an ok weapon, so he took a holster, looped it onto his midsection, and placed the gun in. "This is a good choice, right? I, uh, don't really know much about guns." he said, completely clueless. On the streets, nopony had a gun. They had usually stuck to knives.

Butcher gave Thunder a look of puzzlement as he shook his head. "I'm already travelling light. Besides, I don't use guns." He stared at the weapons in front of him and scratched his head. "I've been using my blade for years and its served me well - I'm not replacing a gun with it."

"I could try and get some zombies to merge into a giant cage and you could kill them all?" Jango suggested. Maybe she could try to get the zombies to. They might not listen or follow, but at least she could try.

Snow Flake's face was in shock as he asked HOW'D YOU KILL ALL THOSE ZOMBIES SO QUICKLY WITH AN L96?!". He turned around to look at Jango "Hey how long has Jango been infected?" Snow Flake asked as he looked suspiciously at the filly.

"For a while, around two days of infection. He's gone through a lot of **** so don't make it hard for the pony. I've also been playing with many sorts of guns especially sniper rifles for over four years so I'm quite experienced with them." she replied.

 

Daeva threw down her saddlebag and stored the flare gun inside carefully.

Jango, the young filly GIRL fluttered her wings as she hear them talking about how long she was infected for. "I'm not going to turn into one of those." She went on, "I won't allow it to happen." She finished, looking around.

"As long as you fight the infection you should last long enough until we find the cure."

 

Daeva and the others continued their journey towards the fountain.

 

While they walked past building by building it felt like it's taking forever.

 

"I need a rest."

Thunder called the other two team members over and pointed to where a prototype Auto-Charriot was parked. Fully equipped with a LMG turret. "Buck.................... YEAH MOTHER BUCKER!" Thunder shouted as he looked at it. "We'll be in Canterlot in no time with this," he said.

"Well, this certainly looks like it be useful. Any idea how to work it?" Sparrow said, approaching the strange machine. It was like nothing he'd ever seen. It appeared to be a normal chariot, but where it would usually be pulled by ponies, there was a odd contraption attached to it.

"Go ahead and sleep... I'll try to stay awake this time..."

Fire Blade sat up. He knew he wouldn't last long...

 

"As long as you fight the infection you should last long enough until we find the cure."

 

Daeva and the others continued their journey towards the fountain.

 

While they walked past building by building it felt like it's taking forever.

"If there even is a cure." Jango mumbled. All she could think about right now is finding the cure, if there was a cure. And if there was a cure, where would it be? Bed time I suppose. I need some rest. Jango fluttered in the air, and took a fluffy looking cloud, she pulled it rather low, but still floating just above the ground, then she snuggled in and pulled some of the fluff over her, making the wonderful and most comfortable bed.

Snow Flake couldn't sleep at all, instead he just stared at a photo of his loved ones for moments before having a flashback. Tears dripped from his eyes, as he wiped blood off his LR 300. "I wish I could've protected them..." Snow Flake thought as he continued to clean his weapon.

Fire Blade woke up. This time, before the others. He looked around and rubbed his eyes. Nothing else seemed to be happening, so he grabbed an apple from his saddle bag and bit into it. It tasted so good, but he had to make sure he didn't rush while eating it.

She woke up from a weird noise she heard just around the corner so she stretched herself and flew over to see what was going on, the second she saw it she quickly backed up before the thing saw it.

 

"Quick everypony, we should really get moving." she said as she pushed everypony far away from that thing she just saw.

 

"Hurry it up everypony, it's really important that we move now or else we might all die!"

Butcher stared at the contraption and went wide-eyed. Everything was progressing at a rate he couldn't understand. Guns, self piloting chariots, everything was starting to become problematic. He shuddered at sat down near the thing and attempted to gather his thoughts. "We're gonna use this to get to Canterlot?"

Snow Flake was starting to customize the weapons he gathered for Charlie squad. "Butcher's gonna love this killer." Snow Flake said as he attached an axe blade to a Mossberg 590 Riot shotgun, but at the same time following Daeva's commands, it was obvious his Equestrian Marine Corps training paid off. He inspected every inch of every weapon he was going to give to Charlie squad, the look on his face made it obvious he didn't want to let his team down.

"That's a lot of guns you have there, how do you even manage to carry all that while traveling? Doesn't it slow you down?" she asked Snow Flake.

 

Daeva was still worried about the monster she just saw at the corner, but since she had a great squad behind her she felt safer.

"Well Light Infantry was never light, if you know what I mean." Snow Flake said as he laughed. "Besides the Equestrian Marine Corps is trained in a lot of junk so yeah." Snow Flake added. "So was something following us or something? You seemed very eager to make us move."

"It didn't feel safe there so I thought we'd continue moving until we found a safer spot to rest, so lets get moving to the fountain, we're almost out of FIllydelphia and we'll be on the road to Canterlot to meet the others." she replied.

"I remember when I was a filly, they made filly cheesehay sandwiches here in Fillydelphia." Snow Flake said trying to say something among the quiet group. "But that was a long time ago, too bad with all the zombies running around." Snow Flake added as he looked around.

Jango yawned tiredly, and arose. Her leg felt slightly cold, and so did the rest of her body. She didn't want to say anything, because she was too scared. "I'm a little hungry." Jango said, staring at the ground, and trying to keep from shivering.

Snow Flake heard the filly and saw her shivering. "Here you go." Snow Flake said as he gave Jango a muffin, he then asked "Are you cold?" Snow Flake searched through his backpack and took out a blanket. "There you go." Snow Flake said as he handed over the blanket.

"Food supplies are really limited right now so only eat the food we have left when we're starving, we don't want everypony to waste all the food just because there was nothing to do.." she said before somepony did something stupid.
