"Jeez Splinter, how did you eat up all those expired cookies?" Snow Flake asked as shock went over his face. "We'll have to live off something other than cookies and muffins, I'm getting pretty sick of them." Snow Flake added.

''Wait.. They were expired?'' Splinter said while his eyes widened. ''WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME THAT BEFORE!'' Splinter yelled while waving his hooves around randomly.

"I thought you knew, but at least you were able to make use of them." Snow Flake said as he laughed. "Here's some water to wash that all down." Snow Flake added as he tossed Splinter a water bottle. "It's not cold, but it's better than nothing."

Splinter chugged the water down and threw the bottle across the floor. ''Water is for sissies.. Do we have any beer?'' Splinter said while cocking an eyebrow. ''I know I shouldn't get drunk.. But it increases my trigger hoof.'' Splinter said while blushing.

"I have a bottle of Jack Daniel's I took with me after leaving the bar that we were resting a day ago. Here, you can have it." said Daeva as she flew over and handed Splinter the bottle.

 

"Just don't get yourself too drunk."

"I'm sure he's not gonna be so sober now." Snow Flake said as he watched Linus take the bottle. "How much farther do we have to go to reach Charlie?" Snow Flake asked as he outstretched his wings due to some stress.

"I'm not quite sure, I've never been to Fillydelphia but I'm pretty sure we're heading in the right direction to Canterlot Castle." she replied Snow Flake.

 

Daeva was wondering if the Charlie squad has arrived to the fountain yet..

Splinter chugged down the glass. He seemed very groggy and unstable. ''Can I have another beer?'' Splinter said foolishly while struggling to stay up. I had too much beer.. WAY too much.

"Well, it looks like we have no other choice. We've spent too much time resting. Thunder, I really hope you know how to drive this thing." Sparrow said climbing into to odd vehicle. He took a look inside the thing. After a few minutes of deliberation, Sparrow realized this thing was way beyond his limited knowledge. "Butcher, Thunder, get in this thing so we can figure it out." Sparrow announced.

Thunder climbed into it and looked around. "I found a button!" he exclaimed before pressing it with his hoof. It started making a loud noise from the engine. "I think it started," he said to sparrow after a couple seconds.

Daeva saw Splinter really drunk and went over to carry him.

 

"I told you not to drink too much, now you're drunk and it's going to slow us all down."

 

She slapped Splinter and told him never to do this again.

The engine of the big flying contraption started up with a nice hum, which worried Butcher a lot - he was, after all, an Everfree Forest pony at heart - but he refused to show weakness. He gulped and asked, "This is what's gonna get us to Canterlot?"

Sparrow leaned back in the seat. Even though he had no idea whether this thing was going to work, it was best not to worry himself about it. With the whole zombie thing, what did it matter if they had to trust some odd machine. "Looks like it, Butcher." he muttered, trying to get comfortable. "So, Thunder, when can we head out?"

''Duh.. Did you ever noticed how hot you looked when you do that?'' Splinter said while his head spun around. ''And by the way.. I'm drunk! You don't have an excuse!'' Splinter yelled while he smirked.

"I think I've got it down, I just need Butcher to get his flank in here," Thunder told him as he inspected his saddlebags to make sure he had enough supplies. "Get in Butcher!" He called, getting impatient.

Butcher grumbled as he hesitantly got into the mysterious vehicle. He honestly didn't know how pegasi such as Sparrow and Thunder were able to feel so comfortable in the air. He took a seat and tried not to panic.

"Hey I just thought of something pretty freaky! What if an alicorn was infected? Wait, what if a dragon was infected?!" Snow Flake asked as he felt very unsecure due to lack of sleep. "W-What if Splinter gets drunk again?"

"Hey, pal, don't be nervous. I've never been in a machine like this before, either." Sparrow said, trying to be reassuring when he saw the earth pony hesitate. He wasn't really used to helping ponies out when they were feeling off, but everypony on the team needed to keep their wits about them. He just hoped it didn't come out as weak or stupid.

Splinter looked over to Snow. ''Lot of good that Soldier training did ya! I'm drunk!'' Splinter said while he stuck his tongue out at Snow.

"Pull yourself together or we might end up having no choice but to abandon you, though I really wouldn't want that to happen Splinter.." she said as she continued walking.

 

"Anypony alive? Hello?!" Daeva screamed.

''Aw.. Lemme show you how I do it.'' Splinter snarled while standing on his hind legs. ''Now listen up if your here.. I will chop your bucking head off with a knife and paint my name on a wall with your blood and guts!'' Splinter said slyly while falling flat on his face.

Jango came flying over, her wing looking bent, her eyes looking very very tired, covered in dirt, bruised all over, mane and tail all matted with mud, she practically looked like a zombie! She came tumbling down onto the floor next to them. "Sorry. I had a problem, wasn't getting attacked by zombies. Just. Not zombies. Others." Jango had trouble with her words, she looked tortured!

"What in the world happened to you Jango? You look as if you just went through your mid-life crisis!" she said with her mouth wide open, looking at him at every single angle.

"I...There... I got ambushed, and trampled on and bitten again and just, it was crazy." Jango hesitated. "I might as well not find a cure if I'm getting bitten all these times, and I'm pretty sure another bite will just enhance the first one!" Jango started hyperventilating. She was really scared, and tired.
