Doctor XFizzle 8,669 July 21, 2012 Share July 21, 2012 Probably just a glitch in the new length requirement. I'd imagine there will be a few kinks to work out. The post is long, even longer than some previous posts, but it still won't let me post '~' Did you try posting Goku, Batman, Robin, Superman as characters? ... We just implemented a feature where you have to write a certain amount of characters in order to post - this is to prevent spam and otherwise posts that lack content. The increase in "bad posts" over the months was disturbing, so we had to introduce this new feature in order to encourage people to make better posts and also to have better discussions across the board.
Shankveld 4,949 July 21, 2012 Share July 21, 2012 Well, actually the post I was trying to submit was in the Roleplaying section, but A-okay :3 It needs a minimum of 200 characters now so no more one liners which is good because some people were spamming the RPs and getting massive post numbers. ~ Did you try posting Goku, Batman, Robin, Superman as characters? ... Simcity11100 772 July 21, 2012 Share July 21, 2012 To be honest I think this rule was a waste, not saying it in a harsh way, but there are better rules out there then this one and this might be one of the few forums out there that control your posting limit just because you see to many short post, to be honest, if you were trying to get rid of the "great job" responses or something like that, then your doing it wrong. Fizz. 1,078 July 21, 2012 Share July 21, 2012 Its a sad rule, but necessary. If what you have to say is shorter than a tweet it's probably best left unsaid. http://alt="img-3411728-1-kQpW0ME.png">

If you have any better ideas, please speak up! I completely agree that a character minimum is far from an ideal solution; but it's the best we've come up with so far.
