"Herro Wildcard. I was in the hospital because I ran into a wall while flying. The force was so big that it cracked open my skull. Good thing Vinyl helped speed up the healing process though,"

 

Wits sat down, and looking at the book began to study and scan the book at high speeds. "Differentials... differentials... here's the history you were reading... equations..." He looked up. "Do either of you know what the time inside out is?"

 

Jaide turned to Wits a bit confused. "The time inside out?"

Blossom Bloom finally came to Canterlot Square. There were many shops around but they all looked rather busy for they all had many ponies gathered around inside, as she could see from the windows. Blossom wanted a more quiet place. A more abandoned place. She looked around until her eye caught a small store at the back of the square. Ponies were walking passed it and seemed to pay it no mine. "It must not be that popular...meaning no one is there...perfect!" she thought as she smiled and began to trot on over there. When she was close enough, she could see that it was a library. "Ohoho more than perfect..Maybe I could nap here!" pushing the door open, she popped her head inside and looked around. There were in fact a few ponies there and one of them looked very familiar to Blossom. "Jaide!" she called out as she ran inside the bookstore and up to her mare friend.

Wildcard was shocked and stared at Wits. "Whoa...Are you ok?" he asked and ran to his friend who was lying on the floor

How could that happen?! It looks like metamagic is more dangerous than Wits admits

Out of the corner of her eye, Blossom saw two ponies on the ground at the base of a nearby wall. Finally turning her full attention to them, she gasped loudly "Whoa! What happened?" she walked over to the colt that was kneeling next to the other that it seemed had just been thrown against the wall by a great force "Is he ok?!" she asked, beginning to flap her wings frantically just as she always did when she panicked.

Out of the corner of her eye, Blossom saw two ponies on the ground at the base of a nearby wall. Finally turning her full attention to them, she gasped loudly "Whoa! What happened?" she walked over to the colt that was kneeling next to the other that it seemed had just been thrown against the wall by a great force "Is he ok?!" she asked, beginning to flap her wings frantically just as she always did when she panicked.

 

"I...I don't know" Wildcard answered truthfully. The pegasus didn't want to make the mare more scared than she already was, so he tried to hide his concern and added with a rather calm tone "Some magic he performed went wrong and he got thrown against that wall. He blacked out from the impact but he should get back his conciousness within the next 10 minutes...He may have a few injuries but this guy is very good with magic and it probably will allow him to heal himself faster" Then he put his unconcious friend in a stable position like he had learned it in a first aid course

Sitting down at a nearby table, she hoped that the colt would be ok and there would be no damage taken to him. She hated watching other ponies get hurt for it would bring pain to her heart and memories.

"Yeah, people could usually die at any moment when they're in the hospital, and I see a lot of possible futures, so I see a lot f death when I'm in them. It's rather nasty to think about, so I usually try not to."

For the first time Wildcard though that Wits special talent was a curse as well as a gift. He still felt a bit unease about the visions of his friend and decided not to talk about that topic anymore. Then he looked at the other ponies in the room.

Jaide hadn't taken off her eyes from Wits the whole time. Something about him made her feel strange and uncomfartable.

He turned and noticed Vinyl on the ground, eyes closed, breathing shallowly.

"Vinyl!" He ran over, and noticed she had passed out.
